So, can someone educate me on just what the two religions believe, and their differences in doctrine? If I'm to be a priest I think I should know this stuff

Kiranism:
I decide to write this to protect the orthodoxy of kiranism.

Kira and the soul:
There is only one god named Kira. Also every human has a soul. When a human is born the soul is evil.

The pray to kira and the 8 ways of the truth:
In order to make a soul from evil to good,you must do two things. First pray to Kira and second follow the 8 ways of the truth.

as we forgive those who trespass against us,

b) The 8 ways of the truth are:

1) You shalt respect your father and your mother.

2) You shalt love all humans, even your enemys.

3) You shalt love your wife or husband and not cheat them.

4) You shalt help the poor and the ill.

5) You shalt not steal or kill.

6) You shalt not bear false witness against anyone.

7) You shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

8) You not make Kira any graven image.


The heaven, the hell and xirma:
If you pray to kira and follow the 8 ways of the truth all your life, after you death your soul will become xirma and you will go to the heaven. If not you will go to the hell and your soul will be destroyed. At the heaven you will meet Kira who will give you his wisdom and after 3 days in the heaven you will be reborn ( and of course you wont remember anything from your previous lifes).

I believe the law is that one has a first chance in accordance with the mercy of mazda (requiring them to recant.) Then if it comes to pass that they publicly revert to heresy after recanting they then face the rightful punishment they deserve for their heresy having forsook the grace given to them.

Of course, they could simply avoid speaking of their heresy, but they're still in the same situation as they were before, as undoubtedly they will keep this heresy to themselves, and even perhaps quietly spread it to others.

It is my personal opinion that it would be better to execute these heretics on the spot. However, as Jehoshua is high priest, and I am not, I humbly submit to his authority that I may learn the great ways of Mazda.

IC: alas I as High Priest have no legal power to execute punishments and merely to make suggestions regarding punishment to the appropriate legal authority. As the state deems a merciful recanting to be appropriate, thus it must come to pass even if I personally doubt the logic of this protocol. As to hidden heretics I am aware that such heretics exists, however so long as they keep their error private it is not I believe legally punishable. It is when that heresy becomes public (in that it involves someone else, proselytism or practicing religious rites) and manifests itself that a revert to heresy is liable for judicial chastisement.

In regards to these hidden heretics therefore, it is the role of the hierarch to keep guard over his domain to ensure that heresy rears not its ugly head, and that any quiet proselytes for error are percieved, captured by the duly informed authority, and brough to their just punishment before the appropriate judicial authority.

-Many people are worried the Babylonians will take their jobs because of the cheap labor they will be.
-Many complain crimes that occured during chaos after coup have been unanswered
-Law system inefficient to attend to all crimes
-Few worry the barbarians will attack Persepolis

-Middle Class citizens complain there are not enough schools that are accesable to them

Congratulations to the new minsters. I hope the minister of Minorities and the King will address the worries of those in Persepolis. I also hope the Sastrap of Sayehabad does something to alleviate concerns in his Sastrapy.

I have received reports that there is likely to be one or multiple terrorist actions this session. However specific details are yet to be identified. To prevent further loss of life due to the actions of these traitors I am placing the nation into a state of emergency for the remainder of the session. Security forces are ordered to break up groups larger than three, anyone who fails to comply will be arrested and investigated for possible terrorist affiliation. In addition the carrying of weapons in public by anyone outside of the military or security forces is temporarily banned, anyone caught carrying a weapon during the emergency period will be arrested and the weapon confiscated, it shall be returned following a background check. I assure everyone that these are temporary measures only, they will be lifted at the end of the session. Please remain calm, this is for your safety, panic will only make the job of the security forces harder.

I do not think that such broad measures are justified at the present time. You merely have word that a threat is likely, yet this appears to be but a rumor unsubstantiated by tangible evidence and indeed may simply be the product of lingering tensions and anxieties since the reformist coup. Thus you are effectively initiating our highest state of emergency based on rumors of actions that may or may not occur. Do you not think that such an action will simply increase sympathy for, especially should nothing occur, the radical reformists by making you appear to be heavy handed? Do you not think that other actions can be utilised before initiating this state of being considering it is unsubstantiated by hard evidence that such things are in the process of occurring?

Now naturally it is your decision, but I must out of duty to the state express these concerns. It appears to me quite premature to be initiating such actions especially when other options to deal with and examine potential threats are perhaps still possible.

I had presumed you were acting on the vague rumors of discontent and planned criminal acts I was informed of by a loyal cleric, and that I had informed you of. If you have another source of which I was not aware that is compelling and highlights a specific threat against the state by remnants of the radical reformists supporters, as you indeed imply, your actions are perfectly right and just so long as they do not advance in gravity, or endure for an unnecessarily long duration.
