The "Member's Files" section is already there in our profiles. I just want to be able to directly link to it in forum posts, instead of the whole profile, the same way I can directly link to a forum post like this.

You mean like this?

Just right-click on your name by one of your posts, and select "copy Link Location", or whatever it says for your browser.

Edit: That's the link to your own profile as others see it.

You should be able to now. Just link it this way:

(In other words, add "#memberfiles" to the end of your profile link. )

Added a small check so uploader can't rate their own files. Now it shows the message "You cannot rate your own file. " instead of the rating drop down.

Wouldn't it be better that the Author not be able to rate the files?

Checking for uploader is simpler, since it's just one user, while for the Author field it can have multiple user names and other non-username values (ex. Firaxis Games).

This may be a silly question, but if I have a mod that exceeds the 10 MB limit and can't be uploaded here, can I still link to it on another site through the database using the "link to file" option?
