Transformer Preview

Is that okay? :(

The transformer leaderhead is obviously a Gundam RX-78. Heck, it even says RX-78. It's kind of a disgrace to be lowering Gundam to the Transformers. Although Transformers were the start to all that mech stuff, Gundam is the most realistic, historically-based, and I really think such will happen one day. Plus, there have been around 20 Gundam series, thousands of manga/comics, and around 8 movies.

People who have watched or watch Gundam will definantly recognize this as the Gundam RX-78, which was the best Gundam in the first 5 series.

Still, make an RX-78 leaderhead and then a Transformer one.

Yep it's RX-78.
I didn't know if there was a difference with Transformers.

Yeah... I think a Transformer's leaderhead wouldn't be that easy to make...

On the other hand, you should definetly make that into a unit :D

I would love too see Gundams. Most particularly ones from Mobile Suit Gundam, 08th MS Team, 0079, 0080, 0083, Char's Counterattack, Gundam V, Gundam Z, and Gundam ZZ. Gundam Wing, Endless Waltz, and Gundam SEED units would be awesome as well.

Of course you could do Gundam X units because there is atleast 1 which represents a country in the battle tournament.. but they're unrealistic and that series I think was the worst one because it had a different director/writer and it was completely unrealistic and different from the original timelines... people controlling a massive mech by moving and being hooked up with signals which make the Gundam move.. bleh.. I hate that series!

Gundam X mechs although unrealistic.. are kind of cool. Spain's has bull horns, Mexico's has a sombrero, Canada's is a lumber jack, UKs looks like a beefeater... and of course Japan has the main Gundam and 5 other ones.

There is one Gundam unit on this forum, I think it's horrible.

Transformers is about vehicles like trucks, trains, and boats turning into mechs. Gundam is about countries and space colonies around the 22nd century creating mechs and fighting battles all over.. and these mechs are pretty realistic. The story is sophisticated, made for adults, and well thought out in a historical sense. Haha, a union of space colonies formed by the Duchy of Zeon, a smaller space colony, taking over using German WWII strategies, landing on Earth and conquering Australia, Malaysia, and some of South America in a few weeks and even saying "Sieg Zeon" to praise their leader Char Aznable.

Unexisted-
Don't know if you would be up for this or not: would you be willing to do a re-color of the Modern Infantry?
1.Change civ specific colors to all Olive Drab Green
2.Re-color boots to make them brown
3.And change the green helmet into a red beret

If you'd be willing to do this, great. If not, I understand.

I could, but I'd put it last on my list. And somebody else would have to do the .pcx arrangement. :)

Can you make an American WWII Leaderhead.
Not a President but a soldier.

i'm new here but i really love your works

could you please tell me what softwares you use to create the pictures?
especially how to change a 24bit colour into a 8bit colour picture without throwing most colours away? (I usually use photoshop to draw a picture and microsoft photoeditor to convert it into a 8bit one but it really look ugly

and i also want a wondersplash of parthenon(ourward appearance) and coloseum

appologize for my english

Unexisted disappeared abruptly ~2 weeks ago, so don't expect a reply from him.

As for the color conversions. I would use Photoshop for reducing colors. I'm not familiar with MS photoeditor, but I doubt it's as good as Photoshop. Paint Shop Pro gives very good results as long as you use optimized octree instead of optimized median cut when decreasing color depth. Photoshop probably has similar options.

I have no idea where the option of decreasing color depth is hidden in Photoshop. It's an amazingly confusing program for someone who is used to PSP's elegant and simple interface. But trust me, it's there somewhere.

mrtn has written a guide on getting correct transparency with Photoshop. Maybe it's of help to you.
