Graphics Modification Requests Thread

Sir, I continue to suggest that you drop it. I will, however, mediate: I'll see what I can do for the building (wonder, I know) and you can add the pic. I can't do the in-city graphic that makes it look cool inside the city, though.

Civiv5, you are really being a pain. I really don't want to help you at the moment, but at least I'm nice enough to try my best to. The modders have lives you know. Real ones. And when they are modding they have hundreds of other requests and ideas.

Also, your requests are unreasonable and rude in form. At first it may be mistaken for lack of mastery in English (as you are from Belgium, right?) but after you say the same, quasi-rude statement over and over again nobody is going to listen to you.

It is not a question of whether or not you have the palace wonder. All the people who could fufill your demand are more than capable of making it themselves.

The reason that nobody wants to help you is:

A. You are being rude and unreasonable.
B. They have other things to do.
C. You're not making the best impression.

My requests are not unreasable,especially the Burj Khalifa(wich is the tallest building in the world) and the Sagrada Familia(wich is one of the greatest cathedrals on earth).

There are plenty, and by unreasonable I was referring to the means you used to ask, not theactual requests. I actually found them to be good Ideas.

How you ask will make all the difference. Try something like:

I understand how much work is invloved and I would be very grateful for any consideration that anyone may provide towards these projects.

You should know that everyone's time is precious. I've spent thousands of hours developing Grand Inquisitions and I provide all of my work for free to our civ community. When you use the words, "I will not rest until someone makes..."; the request is perceived to be a demand. Bluntly stated, demands are ignored. So, if you want people to help you, watch your wording and ask nicely, as you will likely get much better results.

This is not exactly a request, but rather a question that isn't worth its own thread:

I've swapped backgrounds between different LHs by simply using another LH's Background KFM. However, the backgrounds seem to be too small and leave red areas at the upper and lower edge of the background, although it looks fine on the LH it "belongs" to. How can I fix that easily?

Only at one side, or both?
If it's only one, then you should be able to move the background in Nifscope into the wanted direction.
If it's both...mmhh...i guess you'd have to re-adjust the camera (no idea how).

mmhh....did you already try to use a bigger texture?

No, but your question made me try something else first: instead of using another leaderhead's background KFM, I overwrote this leader's texture with the other leaderhead's and used its own KFM instead, and that did it. Thanks!

Yeah, but that would've required me to install nifskope Also, it's not as if the correct camera distance wasn't already there (in the LH's own background KFM).

I probably should get around to learn the most basic aspects of LH making anyway, though.

Also, not sharing stuff is just plain dickish. Almost every mod on these forums would have been impossible if everyone stockpiled their work for themselves. Your comments are effectively blackmail and you can't expect to be taken seriously.

I can use no other Indian leaders because almost all of them are already plannned as a leader in my mod.

There is already a RFC Asia mod in works who cover that region.

But that's not the same as "South and South East Asia".
RFC covers all the territory of RFC Europe,RFC Asia and SoI.
And it's an interesting region,I'm already busy with the map and civs and I will not cancel it.

Sorry,but that is not historically accurate.
The leader that I requested MUST be historically accurate and Rajaraja Chola I don't looked like that.The picture is accurate.
