I stand corrected... what I though was the icon for Toys giving me 2 copies. Is in fact the Icon for Cosmetics.
Actually, you are wrong on this one:

I only take part, so that finally the best UU can be searched.

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 6
Marco Polo - 5
Giovanni de' Medici - 29
Adam Smith - 64 (63+1) best
John Spillsbury - 20
John D. Rockefeller - 29
Estée Lauder - 18 (21-3) also boring

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 6
Marco Polo - 2 (5-3) Probably the one of the remaining that offers the least unique bonus.
Giovanni de' Medici - 29
Adam Smith - 64
John Spillsbury - 20
John D. Rockefeller - 30 (29+1) I'll keep upvoting Rockefeller and Medici, because I think they are the #2 and #3 best.
Estée Lauder - 18

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 6+1=7 - He is actually the best if you want <150T VC of any kind.
Marco Polo - 2
Giovanni de' Medici - 29
Adam Smith - 64-3=61
John Spillsbury - 20
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 7-3=4 - I'll let someone elso to eliminate Marco Polo and I'll go after Crassus. His effect is little saved culture/money, some gold and immediately gained three tiles. That's not very much to me. He is very good, but not top five to me.
Marco Polo - 2
Giovanni de' Medici - 29
Adam Smith - 61+1=62 - Did I mention he is the best? Maybe I did, but he really is!
John Spillsbury - 20
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 4
Marco Polo - 2 - 3 = ELIMINATED Boring bonus
Giovanni de' Medici - 29
Adam Smith - 62 + 1 = 63 Must get at any cost
John Spillsbury - 20
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 4
Giovanni de' Medici - 29
Adam Smith - 64 (63+1) BEST!
John Spillsbury - 17 (20-3) Good but not top 5.
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 4
Giovanni de' Medici - 29
Adam Smith - 65 = 64 + 1 Again, this is just a game to see which merchant is second best at this point
John Spillsbury - 14 = 17 - 3 Slightly less powerful than Lauder but noticeably worse than the other options
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 4+1=5 - He is actually the best if you want <150T VC of any kind. Mention that he costs 60GPP and gives you ~1,000 Gold
Giovanni de' Medici - 29
Adam Smith - 65-3=62 He actually cost 420 GPP and gives you ~2,000 Gold.(Since a policy slot worth 100GPT and due to high inflation rate in C6, 1 Cash actually worth about 0.05GPT)
John Spillsbury - 14
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Crassus is 350% worthwhile than Adam Smith.

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 2 (5-3) - The weakest of the remaining. And you can't just compare cost in GPP over different eras, he may be much cheaper, but at this point you'll also have many fewer hubs and buildings generating points. Plus, this science victory before turn 150 you keep talking about, I don't know under what circumstances that is relevant, but it's clearly not the average game.
Giovanni de' Medici - 30 (29+1) - Giving points to Giovanni today.
Adam Smith - 63
John Spillsbury - 14
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 2+1=3 - He is actually the best. Since a player who treat T150 as an average game may recruit only one GM in a game, and he is the ONLY ONE. (If Zhang Qian or other classical GM appears, I prefer not to recruit).

For me T150 is an average game. My 3 6otms actually finish at an average date of T154.

Giovanni de' Medici - 30
Adam Smith - 63-3=60
John Spillsbury - 14
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

The above doesn't count in the votes, since it was posted in 10 hours, rather than 24.

I just noticed that kaspergm added one point to Adam Smith. He should be 62...

Marcus Licinius Crassus - 2-3=-1 (ELIMINATED) - He is simply weaker that the rest. Few gold and three tiles - that's not much. He is good, but the remaining are better.
Giovanni de' Medici - 30
Adam Smith - 62+1=63 - ...but I'll make it 63, for the sake of order. Oh, and because he is the best, of course.
John Spillsbury - 14
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18 - She will be my next target. Spillsbury is better because he comes way sooner than. She comes in the time when the game is almost winned and +6 amenities are insignificant effect.

Giovanni de' Medici - 30
Adam Smith - 64 (63+1) BEST!
John Spillsbury - 11 (14-3) not as good as the rest.
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Giovanni de' Medici - 31 = 30 + 1 Just making a statement that Medici is better than Spillsbury... since Crassus is gone and I can't rate him higher than amenities
Adam Smith - 64
John Spillsbury - 8 = 11 - 3 It's time for all of the amenity merchants to go away... and I feel Lauder is slightly better.
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Giovanni de' Medici - 31
Adam Smith - 64 + 1 = 65 Number 1 in my opinion
John Spillsbury - 8 - 3 = 5 least of the remaining
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18

Giovanni de' Medici - 31
Adam Smith - 65+1=66 - Can we help him to reach 70 points?
John Spillsbury - 5
John D. Rockefeller - 30
Estée Lauder - 18-3=15 - I would just like to say that Lauder is worse than Spilsbury, because she comes in time when the game is almost won, so she doesn't change nearly anything. Bonus is nice, but she comes too late.

Giovanni de' Medici - 31
Adam Smith - 66
John Spillsbury - 5
John D. Rockefeller - 31 (30+1) - The gold in itself can be substantial, and the oil can be really convenient.
Estée Lauder - 12 (15-3) - I agree, I think she comes too late.

Giovanni de' Medici - 31
Adam Smith - 67 (66+1) ...
John Spillsbury - 5
John D. Rockefeller - 28 (31-3) most times I have oil
Estée Lauder - 12

Giovanni de' Medici - 31
Adam Smith - 68 (67+1) BEST!
John Spillsbury - 5
John D. Rockefeller - 28
Estée Lauder - 9 (12-3) Even with Spillsbury but slightly better.
