In fairness, I don't think many people on Twitter are in the market for a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. You need a friend to fly it with and it's sort of useless without strategic munitions, which are priced out of the range of most consumers.
Additionally, the B-2 is incapable of carrying a public brand image. A high-end piece of clothing or an expensive vehicle are high-visibility items, they say "This is the lifestyle I can afford." Nobody will be impressed with your B-2 because they cannot detect it with their radar systems. They won't even know you're flying it.
On the plus side, it does have aerial refueling capability, which improves fuel efficiency and mission range, and the radio-absorbing paint gives it a sleek, dark look that's appropriate for formal occasions. These are very popular concerns among modern shoppers.
Bottom line, Northrop Grumman has an excellent product on their hands, but I don't see it really finding a space in today's fast-moving economy. They should work on their marketing plan and consider re-launching with a new brand during a different time of year, when shoppers are thinking less about catching the last rays of summer and more about strategic ground attack missions before the fall fashion lines hit stores.
