Guess the Map IV: A Thousand Cries for "Hint Please!"

It would take like 10 seconds to look at Quebec and not make such an awful approximation. Right now you have Labrador in blue, but Newfoundland in red.
 
There's not a lot that springs to mind in which Quebec is party to and Canada is not (or the inverse of that statement). Is it an official split? Like Quebec is, in law, X or not X where Canada is the opposite?

I am not drawing I political treaties so why should it's exact location matter? this is a FUN map making contest.
That is all I have to say on the matter.

Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, South America, Malaysia and a lot of other places don't fit that category.

Spanish yes, Swiss yes, Netherlands no, Germany no, South America yes, Malaysia no.

Fair enough.
 
Grey means that there has never been, red means there is no longer and blue means there still is.
