Why do only some of them have numbers on them? Are those still percentages or do they represent something different that the shades of blue?

Because that is how I found it (except for America, there you even found the percentages for the different races, which I overcoloured to make it a least a bit more challenging).

You have to understand it relative to elected parties. Not by some absolute meaning.

I'd still like to know the source to that map. Because it does not make sense even relatively. Unless someone wants to claim that our two rightmost parties are "center-left" relative to rest of the world. Which I find dubious.

Btw the colors are placed in order of magnitude, ie purple has the most, pale greenish has the least.

1) I personally made this map (it is accurate, but there is a serious hint there )

2) It is not about a resource, but it is about something man-made.

Well if it were not for the exclusion of Israel, Lebanon, Syria, I'd almost say it's a modern day overlay of Alexander's conquered territories, but that little strip being excluded throws me.
