It was a DEFEAT for you, because you were expelled from Khazaria altogether, suffered heavy casualties and had to sign a peace treaty with me soon after. That, and the Nogais and some others declared independance, and the Timurids fell apart soon after too. ;)

haron, the Prophet-Kagan, was a young man, but already he looked old. His hair became gray very quickly, as he was worried, disturbed - even scared! - by the prophecies he received from Adonai.

Opposite to him, Chingis Khan was really old, and yet he still was powerful and seemed fairly young. He had an odd skull shape, as did the rest of his demonic horde. This was probably how the Scythians looked like.

Sharon was unsure as to why did he accept the offer to meet with the Khan, his sworn enemy, in person. It was, perhaps, Adonai who told him to come here... yet why? It was obvious that there was to be no peace with the Mongols.

Chingis Khan studied his opponent. Sharon looked back.

Chingis smiled.

“Speak, Khan.” - said Sharon with dignity.

“So I shall, Khagan.” - Chingis Khan replied via a translator. - “So I shall.” - He seemed to easily absorb insults.

He then made a lengthy speech, and winked in the end. Perhaps it was a custom of sorts in his pagan lands.

“The thing I want most from this war, is a tributary state, now, I know you probably value your indepedence, so here is what I offer. You start a trade route with me, as well as alliance, and you give me 1 econ. every three turns, and then I leave you alone. Basically, fully autonomous but gives me one econ. every once in a while. This makes me happy, and likely keeps you from being absorbed into my empire.” - the translator dragged on, emotionlessly - ”However, the military is where I will be observing, since I don't want to feel treatened. If you make a good case for invading a nearby country, I will give you partial control of my armies for the duration of the invasion so that more nations can be brought under the Mongolian flag, be they tributary or under your control. If you agree, you will be given an medical and technological advances the we happen to make, and, economies sent by us if we like you.”

The Khan smiled and laughed wholeheartedly. The discussion suddenly switched to the subject of a messanger route of sorts, to keep good communication. The Khagan joked and said that the Khazars dare not venture into the Great Khan’s lands. Chingis laughed again. The Khagan was beginning to get his confidence, he felt it. But why? To give an edge in the coming battle, perhaps...

“Now, I need your complete confidence, since if you betray me you will be completely absorbed into my Empire, and you do not have the strength to fight me on your own, and Novgorod can be persuaded to stay out of it if you think you can enlist their help against me. I have been betrayed before by a "so-called" ally, I do not plan to make the same mistake twice.” - the Khan returned to the serious matters.

“So-called ally? Which one?” - The Khagan knew the answer, and the Khan pretended not to notice the question. The Arabs, ofcourse.

”Novgorod, sadly, isn't interested in fighting you anyway, which is probably why I chose to accept this. Provided that you help us punish Novgorod, ofcourse.” - Khagan continued.

”But, this brings me to another point. How can WE trust YOU? If we can, then you can trust us.”

The Khan suddenly started laughing maniacally again. Sharon presumed that all the steppe nomads were derranged, especially this own.

”Hahahaha! This is too sweet, very well, here is what I propose:

You will send me one econ. this turn, and this will secure my alliance, and my good will. You can trust me, becuase I will with draw completely from Khazaria, and then turn into Novgorod. Thus, we can trust each other, because if I don't withdraw, you will be able to know about through you scouts that I know you have, and if you don't send me an economy, I will know that you betrayed me. Then, if you agree, we can discuss the invasion of Novogorod.

Thus, if you agree to name me the Khan of Khans, then we will fine.”

”Most excellent, o Khan of Khans. May our two closely-related peoples prosper from this alliance.” - the Khagan concluded, not believing any word he said. But wisdom, the choice of a right decision over a righteous one, was important. He shook the Khan’s hand, and departed.

He did not trust the Khan, but if he was to grant such an opportunity, the Khagan was sure that Adonai was behind it.

Then you should post the pic you would like to be your avatar at the Avatar Help thread. People there help people out with this sort of thing. I'm part of CFC's avatar help team. I've even made Studio Ghibli collection of Ghibli avatars in there. :)

@NK: Well I am as good with the guide as with actual updates. I am working on it its all I can say. Having troubles with the "history" at the moment...
 
NK, could you change my favorite NES to ITNES I, since stazNES V was ended rather abruptly early this week?...and end my animosity to Panda and you, that was childish and rather unintelligent.
 
If you dont know what generation you are (and if other people can help me out with this), I would say go by this:

first generation: You would have been brought up on the old das nes's and UK board games. such generation would include myself, eq, roddy and mr. mesoy.

second generation: You would have been in, or been around while it was on, the first version of rtor2. This generation are the parents of modern story nes's. Includes people like erez, lmsw, sheep (?).

third generation: would be the people of stjnes5 and, i think, china444's nes was the other big one. It kind of blurs with second generation. such people would be tossi, amon etc.

fouth generation: people in this generation is anywhere after stjnes5 and the opening of dasnes2: 1. I think this may be the largest generation.

Fifth generation: all ye newbies who joined in the past couple months.
 
We need a 6th generation I`m sick of being a newbie,I`ve been here for a year or so.
