Gunman Kills 8 in Attack on School in Jerusalem

The path of peace has been tried many times, each time the Israelies go back on their promioses. Argue? Tell that to the Isreali settlements in the West Bank.
So when Arafat got 95% of what he wanted in exchange for peace what did he do again? Thats right he launched the intifada. Yup its those israelis. When they gave back the Gaza for peace did they get it or did they get daily rockets shot at thier kids? When there are peace talks who ups the attacks on civilians again? Thats right the pally terrorists. Yup its all the Israeli's fault.

Well if the enemy can still put soldiers in your land, still sanction illegal settlements, and belittle your government. I think that the Israelies are going back on their promises.

Well if the enemy can still put soldiers in your land, There is no "your land" in case you didn't know, and you obviously don't, the land is refugee camps in Jordan. It is Jordans land.still sanction illegal settlements, and belittle your governmentDon't want to call the corrupt terrorists what they are now do we.. I think that the Israelies are going back on their promises.
What promises exactly? The ones made in a peace summit that are broken by the pally terrorist before the summit even ends?

What is the first step in the "Road map to peace"?

Skad, you're laying it on a little thick with the 'target the children' act. Starting to get a little tacky. Maybe switch to grannies or handicapped once in a while But apart from that, nice performance so far.

The peace talks conviniently never semm to end, do they? By the way, these Israeli settlements although being illegal cut through Palistinian owned lands, destroying houses and buisinesses. They siphon natural resources from poor Palisitinian communities, and the infrastructure used to fuel them are banned from Palistinian usage. Now if they did this to me, I would be pretty pissed.

This debate won't end until people realize both sides have erred.

Skadistic here doesn't want to admit his side has done sime horrible things, while I openly denounce the Palistinian bombing of Israel, though I do not find it unprovoked.

Thanks coach. ;)

The peace talks conviniently never semm to end, do they? No because peace with terrorist doesn't work.By the way, these Israeli settlements although being illegal cut through Palistinian owned lands,You mean Jordanian owned lands. destroying houses and buisinesses. So the settlements don't build homes they destroy them? They siphon natural resources from poor Palisitinian communities,Like what exactly? and the infrastructure used to fuel them are banned from Palistinian usage.Maybe if the pallies didn't smuggle bomb laden murderers in that would be different. Now if they did this to me, I would be pretty pissed.

Yup you make up excuses and are apologetic for terrorist who target civilians from small children at school to little old ladies and everything in between.

1. When the both sides grow some balls and stop whining over their religion.

2. Perhaps if the Israelies shot at the missiles they might not have shells falling on their cities.

3.Maybe if the U.S. gave half the money they give to Israel to Palistine and helped build infrastructure and schools, then the Palistinians whould not elect terrorists into government.

4. Jordan does not own the west bank, remember the six day war? Israel took the west bank and they will not give it back.

2. Perhaps if the Israelies shot at the missiles they might not have shells falling on their cities. You have no idea about the rockets obviously. These are small and not picked up by radar. There is no shooting them down.

3.Maybe if the U.S. gave half the money they give to Israel to Palistine and helped build infrastructure and schools, then the Palistinians whould not elect terrorists into government. They did give billions and the pallies could have built infrastructure but instead Arafat's widow lives in opulence in europe. There was literaly billions coming in from all over every year to the pallies and it was squandered on building bombs instead of businesses. It was stolen by the corrupt terrorist leaders. The money didn't stop coming until the pallies elected hamas and both the US and international community stopped funding.

No it Jordan's land. Jordan doesn't really want with its infestation of lower class pallie in it. Jordan just the rest of the arab brothers care little for the pallies. They see them as scum.

These are also people who left and came to America so opinions may be wildly different then those who stay.

I am not following you here, you just said before that what matters was the intent !!!!
Your word:
It's trite to try to prove who has the moral ground by comparing the number of deaths. What really matters is the intent of the attacks. Surely, you will agree that Hamas tries to kill innocent people and that Israel does not, right? I think this is the most fundemental part of the issue.

Sorry that was totally unclear... I meant to say that what they are fighting for does not matter, what matters is how they conduct their fight. Terror and targeting civilians is not a moral tactic.

Re all: Obviously the conflict can never really end until Hamas recognizes Israel. I would give them a lot more leeway if they agree to a potential 2-state solution and make actual steps towards peace, instead of bombing Israel and then complaining when Israel retaliates.

This entire conflict has really shown me how complicated and unsolvable some issues really are. I used to have an indescribable hate for all Palestinians, but they are really just ignorant pawns who should be felt sorry for rather than hated. The real enemy is the brainwashers and the perpetuators of the conflict: Hamas. Unfortunately, the majority of the population evidently supports Hamas which makes life difficult for all in the region. The conflict can never really stop, but it can be ameliorated- and I don't see Hamas even wanting this to happen because they gain their support for their "patriotic" defense against the zionist oppressors!

I think that the Arabs might have a window to destroy Israel in the future. If oil prices hit over $4 a gallon, perhaps threatening an Arab oil embargo could force American support out of Israel, and thus ending in the destruction of Israel as a state. I hope that the Palistinians and Israelies can find a solution before then. If not, too bad.

why would the arabs have an oil embargo?

To drive out American support, it almost worked in the Yom Kippur war. Only that the American's still had the balls to airdrop a few tanks.

no it didnt, america still supported israel and the embargo ended extremely quickly, another thing is that none of the arab states right now are really worried about the pallies.
