I hope everybody has a fun as HELL and safe halloween!

So far, I have had about 15 or so kids come by, but I got home from work right before it started getting dark, so I fear I missed a lot of them. Let's hear from the rest of ya!

Kiss, kiss, hug, hug from Captain Howdy!

looks like my ex-girlfriend.....

Quiet Halloween. This is my first year in my flat and I must say, Halloween in a big city is different from the out in the sticks like I'm used to.

It is just getting dark in NM and no kids yet. I expect them anytime.

My dogs woofed at the children a lot. Now there aren't many children.

more candy for you then.

I see the method behind your madness ;)

My black cat is guarding the door and candy, and my doggie is just a camera hog.

If the incident in my costume last night was any indication... (where I was spotted by a bunch of girls and they all wanted to get a picture with me. :D )

...I will have to start charging at some point tonight.

Kudos to whoever can guess which fictional character I was. It's spiky, blue, and likes to run. I pity anybody who does not guess this...

For the youth culture challenged:

Happy Halloween! May the little Devils drive us all bat-crap insane!

It's the first of November here in Ireland - Halloween is over and everyone should stay indoors tonight anyways - the fairies are about [/being picky]

Be safe everyone and have a good time.

I should point out that we diverted a motorway / highway because of a fairy tree here.

Finally sobody put this thread up. I live in Columbus OH and most people went trick-or-treating on Thursday (not me though because I'm 14 may go next year though).

Here is my little guy:

Today, while I was down at the subway, I've seen 5 amazingly hot girls in their late teens/twenties wearing some of the most "unbelievably believable" costumes ever, with full make-up and full SCULPTURES made of their hair. Halloween might not be a big holiday here, but when people take it seriously, they do. :p

Actually, the fact that all 5 of them were just so amazingly sexy, and the costumes/make-up/hair looked extremely professional kinda makes me think that they were in fact models, but who cares, they did good to sit right next to me the whole trip.

Thanks guys! It was actually quite fun. He really didn’t get the whole idea of trick-or-treating at first (he is only 15 months old after all), but by the end of the night he was taking several handfuls and stashing them in his basket!

Very cute - I have a picture of my niece that I can't move from my phone to the web.

I had 0 trick or treaters tonight - I live in an estate populated by students and young workers - there are some small generic eastern European kids a few doors down but they didn't call around. I will bring the candy I bought into work.

Bsmith, your son is adorable.

My parents made the poor (from my viewpoint; from the trick-or-treaters, it was a great) decision to put out candy unattended. They then realized their folly when some kids came and rang the doorbell due to the lack of candy, and my mom remembered some lollipops (dum-dums); she offered them to the kids, but one of the girls simply refused....they have some weird flavors (Coconut. I mean, seriously?)

My Halloween was Friday. I got to hang out at the university with my friends, plenty of whom dressed up. A particularly shapely friend of mine dressed in a particularly sexy Alice in Wonderland outfit gave me a makeover so I would look like a zombie.

Then we played Call of Duty for 5 hours (I have a friend who works for the gameroom at our college, so we can play it for free) and watched Paranormal Activity. Everyone screamed their heads off :D

Today though, I'm sick.
