Combined OS.X is beating Windows 8 in adaptation rate.
No it's not, combined OS X has gone from 7% a year ago to still 7%, Windows 8 has gone from 0% to 5%.
Still has more marketshare. Windows 7 already had OS X beat by this point after its launch.

People just do not want Metro on there PCs.
I have some excellent news for you: Metro is completely optional!
The start screen is garbage and it is Metro.
People just do not want Metro on there PCs. It has yet to surpass OSX or VISTA. Its closing in on a year since the initial release last August and this is still the case. Face it Windows 8 is a failure in marketshare. I doubt 8.1 will do much to help the marketshare for Windows 8. People want there start menu back. I am NOT alone.
