Have you ever been in a finnish sauna?

Aren't they just really hot and humid rooms you relax in? I don't know, I've never been in one. I didn't know that there were types of saunas. Maybe a finnish sauna is a normal sauna

Well i have heard that the russians have one thats cooler and more humid.

It's quite pleasant, it's hard to say because i'm so used to it (I go to one at least once a week, just like pretty much everyone in Finland).

Yes. We have one at home and three at our summer cottages. Hitting with branches is a custom but it's not needed for the sauna to be "Finnish".
