Help me find strategy articles!

Dear board,

I'm a long-time lurker who spent most games playing Mongolians and killing civs with Keshiks, but I saw the Julius Caesar article and couldn't help myself - I played one game with Praetorians and I'm so happy that I just want to try some more games. I played the espionage game with Suleiman - that was fun too.

Any links will be fine, but I hear people talking about a supposed strategy with China, Pyramids, and bulbing to Cho-ku-nus early and I really want to play this strategy next!

I play on Monarch and I save/reload whenever it gets dangerous.

There's a Crossbow challenge thread just below. You can find a lot of what you need just by searching the forum and sub-forum. Otherwise, ask specific questions and will we answer them.

All the info you need is right here and easily accessible, if you take a little time -otherwise you are basically asking us to do searches that you can perform just as easily as anyone here.

Bulbing XBows is with China has 3 approaches:

1. Get Metalcasting early, run an Engineer Specialist, bulb Machinery.
2. Skip Fishing, get Writing early, run 2 Scientist Specialists, bulb Machinery.
3. Oracle Machinery.

Mids are not needed for anything in this approach, just some people consider the Wonder of great value (which it sometimes is, but most often one can manage as well without them) .

Look for games by Susiutil and Madscientist with crazy variants and indepth strategy. Oz-man is running a good series too now. Obsolete's plays are very good too. Just search for them in these forums.

Seraiel outlined grand routes to the killer Chinese UU. To Killrayan's list you might add the Nobles' Club (playable at any level) which is grand because the followers are very free with excellent advice and some with results that are more than a lesson.

If you're looking for broader strategic advice/options I would not dismiss the threads that follow the War Academy articles.

Here is my strategy article on how to win on monarch.
1. Tech HBR, and Archery.
2. Hook up horses.
3. Build Horse Archers.
4. Conquer your weakest neighbor.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have won.
