Ok, so maybe not "fat" but i need more meat on me.

i'm currently 6 foot and 120 pounds and all because of god's grace and metabolism he gave me.

anyways, i'm considering just a few protein shakes a day and working out next semester.

i just need to get to 140 or around there.

thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat, oddly enough....

You want meat not fat, exercise is key? You'll fill out naturally anyway. Unless your over 25, then your stuffed, in that case bulk up with a fitness regime. Eat as much as you like and convert it into muscle :) It's not a solution without effort but hey, nothing worthwhile is easy.

When I was 18 I was skinny as a rake and 5'11, now I'm big built. And I'm not fat. I filled out very quickly.

Grew up at first, lanky streak of piss, then grew out. It happens.

Check out my photo, It's in OT. I is quite large now. And it aint all fat.

Work out with weights and build muscle not fat. Harder to do, yes, but far more healthy.

To do this lift weights in a program that puts emphasis on strength training. That means lower reps at heavier weights. Doing this will build more muscle mass and increase your weight.

i'm 18 right now, 19 in a few weeks.

and i know i want meat, haha. but i'm not interested in the whole "cut" look.

Don't increase your calories until you've worked out for a few weeks first; most of the benefits in the first couple weeks are learning how to use your muscle efficiently. You don't really start 'growing' muscles until after your gym-strength shoots up ~30%.

After that, only eat increased calories if you're working out regularly with weight-intensive exercises. Most people try to put on weight through excess calories, but it's not the least bit good for you. Your body doesn't really need 'cushion fat'.

When you're sitting around not doing anything, do some pushups. You don't need to do them until you pass out, just a few here and there. Do crunches also. Again, not until your muscles bleed, just here and there. You won't get huge, but you'll have more than just bones on you.

Of course, MobBoss is spot-on if you want to build lots of muscle.

Eat massive amounts of fast and move as little as possible.
Or, get into weight training.

Eat a whole week with food only from McDonalds.

mcdonalds transforms the world into fat people. apparently.

Do physical activities and eat when you're hungry.

I'm tall, so I can kinda get away with looking skinny. It's expected of me.
