    Hey all - we're going to be adding a bunch of techs and a few wonders, buildings, and units. They're all going to need graphics as well as correct icons and such. If anyone is an expert in this, or willing to become one, let me know!

    EDIT: Needs!

    UNITS: Battering Ram - two suggestions here.

    Hoplite -

    Noble Cavalry -

    Quinquireme - being worked on here.

    Legion (as opposed to the Roman Praetorian) -

    Javelineer -

    WONDERS

    Great Arch of Ctesiphon - available in Total Realism (Warlords) mod

    Yazilikaya - not available

    Gate of All Nations - apparently not available

    Ishtar Gate - Rhye said something about "already having it."

    Sebastos Harbor - I'm sure there's a decent harbor wonder around.

    BUILDINGS

    still being brainstormed...

    Stockades - wooden walls, in several mods already

    Archive - may not need a 3D picture, but should have icons

    TECHS

    These'll need various-sized iconic pictures. There should be a list in the tech thread.

    Do you mean implanting the art or creating the art. If it is the first, I can do that if I have the art files.

    Implanting. Though I've put out an invite in one of the graphics forums for a creator.

    If it's implanting i can give a hand too. Haven't dabbled a lot with xml but from what i've seen it doesn't seem that complicated.

    There's also searching for the graphics. I've been going through the Total Realism mod, as someone mentioned that the Great Arch of Ctesiphon, a wonder we have consensus on, was in it.

    There are also tons of different unit skins, both in that mod and out in the world in general. I've posted a few suggestions in the Units thread, but suggestions only.

    I can also crawl through the forums ;)

    Does the wiki have a list already of what we're looking for?

    Not specifically, though that's a decent idea. They're mostly in the related threads. Off the top of my head, I've added a list to the first message in the thread.

    If you or whomever wants to work on this, be aware that I'm trying to release a new version today or tomorrow. So go ahead and collect the graphics, but you may want to wait for the full version in order to start importing them.

    Great for the list.
    I'll wait for the new version then, it's already 23h in my time zone.

    I'm pretty sure we can get a stockade from ffh, i seem to remember there being one there.... actually they're called palisades, basically the same thing. Need to reinstall it to check the art and such though, will post a link then.

    A bunch of stuff from your list i've been looking up and which may be worthwhile to check :

    Hoplite :
    * Greekancientage pack : http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=12698
    * 6 Hoplites : http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=4231

    Noble cavalry :
    Don't exactly know what you mean by this... but maybe there's a unit in this pack that corresponds.
    * Various mounted units : http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1328

    Quinquereme :
    Cool if your request comes through, otherwise there's :
    * Arne's shipyard : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=209775
    * Siege Quinquereme : http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=7008
    The last doesn't correspond but i found the unit fun.

    Gate of All Nations :
    Nothing really approaches it, but somebody with some graphical skills could probably get something out of these :
    * Zoroastrianism Fire Temple : http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=2491
    * Dungeon : http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=10593
    Ideally, we'd need somebody to steal what's on this web site :
    http://www.persepolis3d.com/control_structures/gate_of_all_nations.htm

    Sebastos Harbor :
    There are some nice harbors around, but mainly industrial or the Venitian arsenal type... This might be useful if it's not going to be used elsewhere :
    * Pheonician seaport : http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=9137
    Actually the best thing i saw was for Civ3... but i think i read somewhere that importing those graphics in Civ4 wasn't feasible.

    Stockade
    FFH actually use the initial walls.nif for their palisade... the button's available of course.

    I'll start looking into the tek icons soon.
    As for the implementing, i'd rather there be a consensus on what we're going to be using before going into the xml. I don't tout myself on having a particularly good artistic sense...

    The Ishtar Gate is found in Civ4's Greek World (with art too).

    Excellent. Now we just need to figure out what these wonders DO. I think my next goal will be taking GW wonders and replacing non-geographical ones.

    ambrox finished his ancient galleys, triremes, and I think our quinquireme. So those are available for download.
