Sorry, but IIRC in PTW, units could not be spawned from buildings, right ?
A lot of important things in my mod base themselves on that alone. The Freelancer concept is one of them. Also, a LOT of other wonders produce units; and in the expansion that number will only increase, old wonders will produce units. I'll probably get to 1/2 of all wonders producing smthing.
If i take all those things away the gameplay of the mod will drastically change - for the worst.

But why don't you have Conquests ? Can't you get it ?

@Werback3:When you play on a mod on PtW, doe you still get to build your palce? Also, Do you still get to see the City view screen that was scratched for Conquests mods?

If the 'City View' works, what happens when you add a new building to the city? Duplictes of the originals? ( I think I heard something like that. I need it confirmed)

I have Civ complete and can run through Ptw anytime. I might do so only to try a mod (Stephs)with these features returned. So Thanks, if you heve responses to any of these questions.

If i were to be incredibly optimistic right now, i'll say that the expansion will be ready somewhere around ...................... late febuary.

There will be some changes. Some major, some smallish.

How would you all feel if the mountains,jungles,marshes will be impassable for most of the game ? :)
Now, now, it's ok; ALL workers will be able to cross those terrains and build roads on them. Several spawned units will also be able to cross the mountains and stuff.

Most of the wonders you never built now spawn units. Some examples:
The Oracle spawns an Oracle unit.
The Hanging Gardens spawns a Great Artist
The Mausoleum a Great Architect

2 superwonders will be available.
One of them being the Tower of Babel.
The other is the Scourge of God. Related to the Nomadic Camp resource.

The other resource is the Crashed UFO. How fast will you replicate the technology ? The Thule society might help hasten things.

So what do you guys think of the impassable terrain thing ? I haven't added it yet. But i think it will be ok if the workers can road them since the start of the game.

Sounds interesting. The 7 wonders of the wolrd (and the Oracle, to a lesser extent) are "superwonders" in my Greek Scenario. Although, I think I make everything a bit too overpowered, myself :blush:

I'm used to it worknig like that, anyway. In my Greek scenario, there is only one line of military units in the "generic" line that can move into Jungle/Mountains/Marsh/Desert. And those units are cheap and extremely weak. They also have a lot less defense than offense, so that they can easily get "hunted" out.

I don't have time right now so I'll comment later on the ideas. Overall seems very nice! I agree with the impassibility of mountains and jungles for a long time, I'll do that too for the scenario I'm currently making.

Another concept will be the Great Artist and Cultural Exchange. As you may think, this will replace sacrifice.
Several wonders will spawn them and you should take them to your capital for trade.
