Do you really believe Stalin tried to kill everyone who wasn't a communist? Are you seriously a Jew who think you would have had a bad a time under Stalin as under Hitler? Have you ever read a history book?

What the hell are you talking about? Where did I claim that I would be killed for being Jewish under Stalin, even though, if you delve further, you'll realize that the Soviet Union under Stalin was not a good place to be a Jew.

And of course Stalin killed people who didn't believe in communism, and especially people who are capitalists (like me), I mean, come on RRW, how the hell do you not acknowledge the political repression of the Soviet People?

Actually, Stalin's distrust of Jews stemmed from his paranoia in regards to Zionism, rather than any particular associations with Trotsky who, though of Jewish heritage, had renounced the Jewish faith and any association with Zionism.
Of course, Stalin himself seemed to view Russian nationality as somewhat subscriptive; he himself has renounced his Georgian identity in favour of a "Soviet" Russian one, and generally only regarded self-declared Jews as such. Indeed, it seemed to be this reluctance to renounce a Jewish identity in favour of his constructed pan-Soviet one which largely fuelled his paranoia. He certainly didn't engage in the extremist racialism of the Nazi party.

Stalin deported entire races to to Siberia and at th end was planning a purge on the Jews (The Jewish Doctors). He also murdered a huge number of German PoWs, and purged ethnic Germans in te Volga region and was heavily involved in the post war ethnic cleansing of 12-14 million Germans in eastern Europe where over a million probably died.

During the war it seemed you would also have a higher chance of survival being conscripted into the Wehrmacht than the Red Army. Before voting think, "If I was around at that time what country would I rather live in". If you're Jewish I understand voting for the USSR. Anyone else grow a brain.

I'd shoot either one given the chance. If I had to pick one to shoot, I'd pick Stalin because he's the stupidest ally the United States has ever had, whereas Hitler we would have killed anyway.

Who would I rather live under? It actually doesn't matter to me. I'm not Jewish, but under Hitler I'd be killed, even if he did allow people to quietly hold non-Nazi views, I'm an anti-Nazi and anti-commie, either way I'm getting shot. The question is, how many Nazis/Red Guard can I kill before I die.

Domination, do you even know basic history? The US could not have defeated the Nazis on WWII without Stalin. Remember it was Russia that conquered Berlin. We didn't. I disagree Russia was our stupidist ally. While it was definitly odd (Churchill said it best "Politics makes strange bedfellows") it was at least reasonable. Allying ourselves so closely with Israel may not have been the best move politicaly.

I meant Russia was stupid, not that they were stupid that we allinged with them. If there was any way we could've assassinated Stalin though, I'd have favored it.

Domination, if we were to kill stalin during WWII his sucessor would have made Stalin look like a nice person. I forget his name but IIRC he was charged with real evidence that he molested kids. If we did kill Stalin the resulting power vacuum would have forced the USSR out of the war, just like the Russian Revolution.
Lastly, "God would have saved us"??!!! What ever happened to that one passage that reads 'you shall not test your god'? God certiantly saves alot of people who were doing right, MLK comes to mind for an example of his magnimacious grace in saving the just.
