Yeah, I tend to laugh at the stupidity and misfortune of others too. My justification is that the rest of humanity is ultimately a tool for my amusement.

Pure and simple: I'm a jerk whenever being a nice guy doesn't work. As the saying goes, do unto others as you would have others do unto you. So, when people do badly unto me, of course I'm going to kick them in the kneecaps.

This statement says nothing about what you should do to others if they do unto you in ways you would not have!

How am I a jerk? When I try hard to be patient, but a person pushes me over the limit, I blow off some steam with a few snide comments. How do I justify it? They pushed me past the limit. I can only take so much.

That said, I try my hardest to keep my cool.

wow, some of you guys are real jerks. I am too much of a nice guy. I know this. Sometimes I wish I wasn't a nice guy. I can't think of a single jerky thing I do.

Although there have been a couple road rage incidents. Sometimes I will gun my gas at a stop light when people making a left in front of me are running the red light and blocking my lane. I like to scare them a little that I'm going to hit them. I'm not sure if they notice, however. So if a person doesn't notice I'm being a jerk, am I really being a jerk?

I don't talk about things because people find it too offensive. I might come on too strong to squelch ignorance about things out there. Mostly about private and personal problems that don't belong in your life.

I also need to verify with the people their work posted on the net. Sure, I can confirm one thing being right over the other. But when you have articles of Hawking on the net with his view on politics it might be wise to hear from the man himself.

This applies to other people as well unless you already know.

I regularly wake Abaddon up when he's still asleep in the morning and then pretend I'm asleep so he never knows . Totally justified!

I'm rarely a jerk. When I am it's to help people stop being stupid. In general I'm a pretty empathic person.
