How does the "Real You" differ from the "Online You"

I don't have as good a singing voice in real life.

But wait... isn't all behaviour sinful?

Why single out homosexual behaviour? It doesn't make it into the 10 commandments, does it? So, is it really so frightful?

Spoiler :
He didn't single out homosexual behaviour. He was asked a fairly off-topic and ******** question about how gays are evil and responded to it in a mature and honest way. Ask him about if he thinks adultery is sinful.

If you then ask the average Bible-thumping Christian, Koran-thumping Muslim or Dalai Lama himself about if homosexual activities are sinful, you'll get the same answer. Just as with adultery.

The question is why people are singling out fundamental Christians view on the specific topic homosexuality? No question really. They're easy targets. :ar15:

Introduce me to the Dalai Lama and some Koran-thumping Muslims and I'll talk to them too. I'm pretty sure we don't have any on this forum.

i usually don't use talk when i am not on the worldwide web of connections called the internet as my only nearby companions who are alive are reindeer.

And what, pray, is wrong with palindromes?

But ones spelling I HATE (doubling the letters, and reversing them)? Is there a message in there somewhere?

I'm quieter in real life and more vulgar.

I guess the other difference is that real-life-you have a non-horrifying name.

i dare not imagine the horror of a kangaroo bleeding to death after it's appendicital limb has been severed.

you could skip every second letter to reveal a most interesting message intriguing enough to keep you entranced for hours.
and then you could read the letters you skipped if this most supreme revelation of enigma has not satisfied you.
the fact that i hate and the ai are anagrams is entirely not my fault and can indeed lead people to think my name spells out i hate fourfold leading them to think i am a very obnoxious person which is not true.

I still have all my digits in real life.

About the same I think. I am more willing to talk to complete strangers online, such as here. But I think the medium lends itself to that. I don't have the gift of gab some have to just immediately spark interesting conversations with random strangers, so IRL I have to start with small talk with complete strangers before I can crack the shells (mine and theirs) and get to anything interesting. (Usually.)

I find small talk a chore. As most do. Online you can just skip the small talk and go right to whatever it is you want to discuss. Which is nice.

I am from such a place, where if you speak openly about the govt. policies, you get an insta couple of nights of jail-time. Reddit being a large source of relief regarding this.

Also, RL, I am real grouch at work, esp to my juniors, online, I play warcraft :)

I suppose it all comes down to the difference between writing and speaking.

I very rarely hand people written notes IRL. And very rarely talk on-line.
