How excited are you?

  • Meh. I'd rather they started work on Civ VI and bring back stacking.

In three weeks, we'll all be three weeks closer to death.

I eagerly anticipate the release, and will be very excited to play it when the day comes, but I choose not to be in a rush to get there. :mischief:

:( Now i'd rather have a time machine

I would say I can't wait, but I have to! I am going to the Americas tomorrow and won't be backuntil July 8th, so I have to wait... I know what I'm doing all july 9th... Through the next two years.

I've got another "project" that helped me to overcome my own hype: I've bought an interesting board game ("The Battles of Westeros") and I enjoy myself painting all the minis and pimping the game with self-built mountains. It helps a lot to fight fire with fire, so to say.
Even more there is SUMMER outside! (Finally, as much as it concerns Germany). Therefore, I'm sitting on my balcony, drinking Sangria and relaxing. I really don't want to play a comuter game, right now...

As much as I love Civ5 - its' only a computer game. There is a whole life to live, even without BNW. It will come soon enough for me.

(Will I be banned from the civfanatics, now? :( )

Yeah, honestly, summer is my BNW coping mechanism too. I have a 24' pool, so it's a pretty good distraction.

The first full draft of the final chapter of my PhD thesis is due to my supervisors a week before international release date - cunningly engineered by myself so that I have something to look forward to at the end of all the graft! :D

I am very excited for the expansion pack, I haven't been able to play Civ due to my anticipation of the new features. Unfortunately I will be out of town the week it comes out and the week after, so I will have to wait another two weeks

I am extremely excited, but also considerably worried. I have already promised myself that I will not buy the expansion, no matter how great it is, if multiplayer is not improved to my satisfaction.

From what I know, there is/was a team working on MP independently of work being done on the expansion. I don't expect miracles, but I do expect at least some improvement.

And seeing as I really *want* to buy the new expansion, but my main focus being multiplayer, I certainly won't if I can't have a more enjoyable MP game... I'm equal parts excited and nervous.

I think the three people who voted for the first option should be immediately banned from ever posting the in the Civ5 forums.

"Annoyingly", July 9th happens to be a Tuesday. Even more "annoyingly", I get Wednesdays off from my work. "Oh, no. What shall I do the 10th?"

Don't know, but it sure is unfortunate that you got so sick on the 11th and 12th. Get well soon ;)

Fortunately, Nintendo's ROM hack (aka Super Luigi U) and Penny Arcade:Otter's Pod 4 are holding me over this time around, along with just a dash of Real Life.

Outside is where the bugs are.

Outside is in a dire need of a patch...

OK, on topic, I am pretty excited, but I'm so excited for so much stuff now that I find it hard to devote a whole lot of excitement for this alone!
Don't get me wrong, I'm REALLY excited, but I'm REALLY excited about other stuff as well, and I can't be more excited towards this than the rest, otherwise they get jealous! :(
Stupid E3, making me excited...

I still have to finish the two G&K games I have running, by the way...
Yes, this entire post was made solely for the first pun...

Well it is summer now (for most of us anyway) I think we can expect a hotfix if nothing else.;)

That's one reason to like autumn. Not as glitchy, but not as laggy as winter. ;)
