I'm currently in a Swedish game at (I think 1512) where I've conquered the rest of Scandinavia, Karelia, Kola, Olonets, Iceland and a few provinces in Northern Germany. Due to most of my provinces converting to Protestantism, I converted as well, although I've had terrible stability for years, largely due to bad luck in events.

I mean, if i can beat the Ottos at very hard using DAO mod as the Byzzies, how can't somenoe win as the Mongol Khanate in Very Hard vanilla?

i will post my Byz game in DAO soon, i'm really proud of it, beating the Ottos with Very Hard and they having advanced tech was a pain, especially when they got armies 3x biggers than yours and lots of ducats
Now i'm even allied with Bohemia, Austria and Hungary need to go against the turk minors tough, the muslims are crazy in Anatolia (Morocco is annexing minors here...)

That's actually a really easy nation...you can dominate world trade for 150 years easily.

This is actually kinda interesting. But a lot of it will be dependent on if the Ottomangs will implode or not. I'll try it sometime.

My advice is at the beginning ally with Byzantium and Hungary, so you can take out the Ottomans as soon as possible, attack Ragusa and/or Serbia as soon as possible.
