I've gotten bored with my HRE game. Combined forces of revolts, building stuff, and managing the economy have made my game unbearable. Plus, there just isn't any challenge any more.

Who should I play as next (preferably someone who isn't in Germany, as my last two games took place there)?

Who should I ally with? England, spain or france?

Well the thing is that france is going to clash with england. And often win. But allying with france is stupid because you have to join their stupid wars and when you declare war on someone, they may leave the alliance.

Allying with castille is stupid because they will declare a war on aragon sooner or later.

I started a game as Aragon and I'm pretty sure I didn't have that. I actually declared on them a few years in.

I'd ally with England. Even though they're not very strong, an alliance of two or more has a chance a dealing a pretty good blow to France. Esp. if England attack from the N. and you from the S., b/c I doubt France could deal with two front assault on them.

In other news, I decided not to go with Portugal and instead I am that Indian country that starts of a V (I don't want to butcher it's name ). I wanted to try being an Indian this time around, because that's the one of place in this game where you can never tell what's going to happen.
