How many countries can you name?

50/50 on US states on try number, what was it, 15? in my defense: I am not an American and who the hell remembers nebraska or maryland anyways?

Maryland? That was one of the original 13 states and one of the most important...

But you're right about Nebraska :mischief:

However I stopped halfway through to share my outrage:

Under 'Elements' is listed
Spoiler :
"Aluminium

If I recall correctly what my freshman year Economics professor (who had spent most of his non-academic career as an adviser working for an Aluminum "Smelter") said, the process for refining Aluminium (which they call smelting even though the term isn't really accurate) was discovered independently by an American and a European (a Frenchman, I think), and that when they were sending in their plans to be considered for a patent the person running the telegraph my a mistake and omitted an "i." The American inventor decided he liked the misspelling better despite much criticism, and his spelling/pronunciation quickly became mainstream and "correct" in the US.

Someone should make a sporcle quiz entitled 'CFC Forum Usernames'....

Here are the spanish ones

Let's see who beats me (17/17 and 20/20 in the first try, MWHAHAHAHAHA)

I rock the "body parts", "days of the week", "months of the year", "colours" and "conjugations of 'ser'" pretty hard every time! both in German and in Spanish!

but Sporcle has made me a better person for memorizing all the US states. next up are the presidents and that is going to be taxing...in 20 years or so I will shine at some game show.

What? You can speak Spanish? Why didn't you tell me? Do you Want to make a language exchange?

One-month bump!

Guys, you can make your own quizzes now! Only seven a month, though. This is brilliant for people like me who do not use Facebook and thus have not been privy to this sort of quiz-making power before. Unfortunately it does not allow you to ask whether the best Johnny Depp movie is 'priates of the carrabien' or 'wily wonka'.

I made a quiz about webcomics because I am a nerd. (And yes, I am aware that I misspelled 'webcomics' in the URL. Trust me to mess up the only part of the quiz creation process that you can't go back and change.)

Sporcle is so last month.

I got 74 countries of the world, I'm rubbish at geography.

And I only managed 99/124 SOWPODS 2 letter words in Scrabble, there was a 4 minute time limit. I do actually know them all though, I tested myself the other week ;)

47/100 on the CFC quiz, but I missed some pretty big names (El Machinae? How the heck did I miss him?). Nice work tailless. :goodjob:

A lot of the top 100 don't go on CFCOT anymore?

Oooh, neat. I like quizzes where I get to be an answer. :3

I gave up halfway through, 73/100, couldn't think of any more. The most egregious omission was downtown. Heavily biased towards NESers, fiftychatters, staff, OTers, and people who have a postcount near mine.
Spoiler goddamn but I have no life :

This is a valid point. Top 100 post count CFCOT regulars would be harder to make, though.

And I who was so proud just now, for reaching a four digit number. Worst thing is that I have been registered for a longer time than most of you.
