How many unversities have rejected you?

I've been rejected by two so far. (MIT and Cornell U)

And waitlisted (i.e. rejected) by Dartmouth.

The other three I applied to were Brandeis U, Boston College, and Tufts U, all of which accepted me.

I had thought that Cornellians were boring since I was in middle school (mostly because the people associated with people I knew who went there were the really boring preppy type) so I guess I had a sense of overconfidence about my application.

In Brazil you take a test for each university you apply to. The best scores for each major are accepted.

Not wanting to brag or anything, but I applied for the second most difficult major of all (Industrial Engineering, Medicine beign the most difficult) and I was accepted at all 4 universities I applied to :p

In Portugal we have an unique grade summing all last 3 years more national exams. Then students apply to six univs and they go to the one where they can enter by grade. If not, who wants and can go to private.

I entered in second choice, lucky me because I didnt knew that my fisrt choice was one of the most difficult course of my univ.

I applied to 5, and got offers from all 5.

Waitlisted by Harvard, got into the other two, though I aimed kinda low (UVA, W&M instate). I reckon if I apply to law school I'll probably add a few more to the list.

Was rejected by UConn when I applied

Rejected by none. I thought about applying to Harvard, but never got around to it. It makes me wonder.

Applied to/accepted by 6:
-Oglethorpe University ($100,000 offer)
-UNF ($10,000 offer)
-UCF ($8,000 offer)
-USF ($10,000 offer)
-BYU-Idaho (scholarship pending)
-BYU (half tuition)

I'm sorry downtown, but I'm going to Brigham Young University.

Rejected:
UCLA
UC Berkeley
Caltech
Stanford

Accepted:
UCI
UC Davis
UC Santa Cruz
UC Santa Barbara
UCSD <---- going

Nobody rejected me. I didn't apply to any this year.

Next year, we'll see about colleges. D:

Noooooooooooooooooooooo

You're going to regret this. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Hey, I thought I was going to Oglethorpe until I prayed about it.

just saw this.. CONGRATULATIONS. That's utterly cool right there.

(you're on your way to being a city specialist and someday, a GREAT ENGINEER!)

-by the way, the Che avatar with the "trendy revolutionary" title is hilarious-

Its a false spirit! God doesn't really want you to go!

No seriously, best of luck. Some people love it...and if you don't, you can always transfer. You'll prob. run into some of my friends or missionary companions.

I know a lot of people that would paint you red for that :crazyeye:

Thanks :)

Now all I have to do is pay for it...

Hmm . . . I tend to side with downtown, mostly because BYU wouldn't even accept me (Notre Dame did though, so . . . ). Hey, my girlfriend went to BYU-Idaho, and most of my friends went to the Y, so it doesn't corrupt absolutely.

 Only on CFC would this be the general LDS reaction.
