How much do you smoke?

I smoke about a dozen packs per day.

pot smells terrible too. And you aren't saving yourself. My brother has a smokers cought from 20 years of pot smoking. He never smoked regular cigs.

A smokers cough is caused by the erosion of the hairs at the back of the throat that stop the build up of phlegm. I don't see how thats necessarily indicative of any respiratory problems. It is far from certain that cannabis has as bad an effect on the lungs as tobacco. In fact the evidence points to cannabis having a "protective" effect on the lungs, that is, it may even help prevent lung cancer.

Amyl nitrate smells better than tobacco.

What is amyl anyways? I've only heard of it from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the wiki page isn't very informative.

AKA poppers, available in sex shops (apparently it loosens the rectum).

Tbh you should probably not bother with poppers in general, though they do burn in different colours which is quite nice after having taken them but all they do is make you dizzy and i've heard the rectum theory but never had a cause to see that part for myself shockingly!

I see. A friend tried poppers and said it wasn't great, pretty much what you described. Thats a bit disspointing, I was assuming that it was something a bit more hardcore since it was referenced in FLLV.

They're semi legal from what i remember which is why they're quite often a drug of choice. Though tbh Mephedrone is legal and that completly sends you out of it so that doesn't really help my legality argument.

It has been linked to some kid who ripped his balls off when he was under the influence, but he was on a cocktail of drugs at the time so they can't really put it down to the mephedrone.

Yeah, quite how it is not banned in the UK is beyond me especially as those regularly taking it don't actually know many of the rammifications. This, among other things- not least that i don't have the time, put me off- i like to remember a night out and you simply don't. However, it's cheap and it's legal so currently it's the student drug of choice and it's fairly easy to pick out who is on it on a night out, just look for the folk that have eyes bulging like Maradona at the 94 World Cup.
