Reliable in what sense? Reliable in the "this is sufficiently reliable enough to show someone on an internet forum?" Reliable as in "This is sufficiently reliable enough to cite in a class paper?" Or reliable as in "This is sufficiently reliable enough enough to cite in a research paper for a journal?"

I think it is very reliable.
It is run by the CIA right?

The vast majority of it is 100% reliable. After all, most of it consists of easily corroborable facts not opinions.

Sarcasm, right?

I like it except for the bit about the Eastern European and "Central" (hmmph!) Europe defintion

It's a very reliable publication.

Use your own subjective definitions of words.

It is an objective fact that any source that identifies Poland as part of Central Europe is NOT a valid source.

I think the only really unreliable (and even then, for only a few countries) part of the factbook are the national histories. I advise my MUN club to use it to get a general idea on their countries' statistics, because a lot of countries have very few or inaccessible sources of such information.

I don't think the CIA would release information on the Nevermind, if it indeed exists as some conspiracy theorists allege. Perhaps you were looking for a wiki like this:
http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Gravemind

Anyway, it seems to be a reasonable compilation of data and social, economic, etc... statistics that is well maintained and updated, so reliable for many purposes.

Ya, I was pointing out the fact that it is a CIA Factbook. Thus, I believe it to be reliable.
