UPDATE 18 920 AF
In Skarabe the authorities are thrilled at the discovery of a new land. Seeking to expand their hold there before other nations can send colonists, they raise a large army of troops. Dubbing them the colonial army and urging them to go forth and conquer in the name of the king, a huge fleet sets sail for the far off island.
Landing there the local troops quickly form into two groups preparing to move out and forcefully seize as much land as they can. A cousin to the king has arrived with the fleet and officially names the island Raland and declares himself Supreme Governor.
Shadowed by the navy the troops move out along the coast, seizing whatever they come across. The few villages they encounter are basically deserted as most of the natives have fled in fear at the sight of the massive ships and large force moving their way. A few skirmishes are fought, but casualties are light for the Skarabians and the gains massive.
(Skarabe: -5000 troops)
Realizing that in the long run it is not going to be a good thing to be a landlocked nation despite access to both of the major rivers, the people of Ironal initiates a massive push southeast. Every soldier who could be spared from other duties are formed into a new army and sent out under the command of the most skilled generals in the nation.
The push goes extremely well as the locals are simply too backwards to stand up to a modern army of such training. Casualties are relatively light and the gains pretty good.
(Ironal: -5000 troops)
Cironelle watched this expansion with interest, but without too much concern as they were busy on a massive roadbuilding project of their own. Not only did they built new roads between the major cities, all towns and villages of any importance were also linked to the new Cironellian road network. Whereas some roads are pretty small, the main routes are now paved with massive stones making travel faster than ever before.
The third large nation in that corner of the world, The Tribunal, focuses on expanding their religion to the new states south of them. Hordes of missionaries carry the word of the Temple south and gain many converts, though most of those sent north havent been heard from since leaving.
The main focus is on the nation of Scania and several temples are established. Many convert to the faith and start practising the religion, though just as many prefer to stick to the old ways as their ancestors did.
In a move shocking the natives of Scania, the priests of the Temple then tried to convince their converts that they should take up arms, overthrow their government and join with the Tribunal instead to make one nation under God. Whereas most where appalled at this, some few did listen and rose up in rebellion. Whilst the army was busy stopping this, they were unexpectedly attacked by the army of the Tribunal.
Out-numbered, taken by surprise, less trained and using older equipment there was little they could do to halt to invading forces. Civilians rose up in their thousands to help protect their nation, but the Tribunal army cut through them as a knife through hot butter. Victories were few and far between for the defenders, but using delaying tactics they have managed to preserve their capital so far.
Outraged at this diplomats have been sent out seeking help against this aggression and the neighbouring nation of Ziopar has answered the call fearing they would be next. The conflict has the potential to expand further, but the resistance of the Scanians and Zioparans may prove futile.
(Scania: +20,000 irregulars, -12,000 irregulars, -7,000 troops. Tribunal: -6,000 troops)
Further north, in Mearlekrol and Calador things are more quiet. Having been close friends and allies for a long time the rulers of the two nations have decided that it is time to take it to the next level. The heir to the throne of Calador has married the princess of Mearlekrol, the younger sister of the Crown Prince. The Royal Marriage has tied the two nations even closer together and the kings have even agreed that should one of the nations ever find itself without an heir, then the two lands are to be joined as one.
The marriage is a huge cause for celebration and the common people are all given a gift as well with lower taxes to be paid for the year causing massive happiness amongst them.
Sudden as the war between The Tribunal and Scania was, not many could be surprised as hostilities broke out between Dashtaka and ThLex Zamzerei. Continuing their raids against the neighbouring countries, the ThLex raiders were shocked to find that the Dashtakans had amassed a vast army on the border, easily beating back the raiders. Taking advantage of this the Dashtakan army then crossed the border seeking to end the threat once and for all.
Outnumbering the ThLex army roughly 4 to 1 the Dashtakan army makes rapid progress initially. The first thrust comes over the Iggy-line. This is intended mainly as a feint, but actually works well as the bulk of the southern ThLex army is positioned here. Progress goes well initially, but is then bogged down.
The remainders of the army, however, faces little to no resistance and is able to capture huge amounts of land before turning east to help the smaller force. Faced with enemies on two sides the ThLex execute a fighting retreat. Losses are great on both sides, but there is little the ThLex can do to stop them. The elite of the ThLex army does well, but the southern city of Hovenia quickly falls as the ThLex prepare to defend their capital.
So far the ThLex has managed to hold as troops posted along the other borders are pulled back, but the Dashtakans have clearly gained the initiative in the conflict and look certain to claim victory. The ThLex are far from beaten though as their best troops are still largely intact and the Dashtakans can expect to take heavy casualties if they want to truly stop the ThLex threat.
(ThLex: -21,000 troops. Dashtaka: -9,000 troops, -1,000 Nezvenii)
Finally, word arrives from Nariis, though it is largely unconfirmed, that a size roughly twice as large as the Skarabian warships has been spotted off their coast. According to reports the people of the ship made landfall near a village capturing several of the villagers before leaving again.

Please help us. The Tribunal are attacking us showing incredible aggression, killing our men and children and raping our women. We can not hold out alone. We must stop them before they bring this destruction upon one of you. They pledged friendship and this is how they repay us!
Note: religious cities and such are still around. For simplicity and for less confusion on the map all special cities are now ringed in red. Technically speaking the differences in them were just too minor and more of a hindrance to the flow of the nes than an advantage.
