Human Model for Poser

Takeno,
My apologies, I forgot to include that folder in the zip I sent you. Here you go.
DMDProps
Just put it in the geometries folder. This should take care of it, but let me know if you have anymore problems.

Thanks for the plume Kinboat. :)

Thanks for the stuff, Cam. :)

Kinboat, I'm just looking for a pair of baggy pants that are tied at the waist by a sash, and a sleeveless blouse. I want to work on a Windfinder (a sort of female mage) from the Wheel of Time series, for the WoT mod.

Another question :crazyeye: : How do you change the color of the paperdoll so that it looks like it has dark skin. The color tool works, but I want a more realistic look. Sorry for all the questions, I don't mean to be the Spanish Inquisition.

Well a few posts back I listed a few RGB colors I used for darker skin tones for my PDM. They might be a good place to start. You could also do a search in Google for colors (http://www.retouchpro.com/pages/colors.html). A year or two ago I found a page that had a whole list of colors for Gold, Copper, Bronze etc. There might be something out there for skin tones. If you're looking for a texture (not really needed at this scale) you could try modifying a texture made for other Poser figures (you can get tons all over the internet, www.renderosity.com might be a good place to start.)
I'm going to be doing a blouse of some type... I'll make sure to set it up so the sleeves can be removed. And pants are in the works.

I've uploaded a collection of Hair Props I've made for various units I've done. Plus the hair included with the Poser program should work with minimum scaling (the simpler the better, preferably without transparencies).

I've also uploaded my Gnoll figure (Hyena headed Man) with a texture and several clothing figures for him.

About the Firing Poses: I recently switched over to a new computer and left a lot of my old stuff behind. I'm trying to track down a site I remember from ages ago that had a lot of poses like that. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the added stuff. About the poses, ok, I'll be waiting. :)
Edit: Just seen your other posts and stuff. Thanks! And to think I've visited Greylight just months ago...How could I miss the poses???
I wanted to ask. I've seen in your spells readme's you were working on more stuff, like something with wind and such(I have the fire based, lightning and Gas) Are you planning , or have already done those? I think the units in that area are very limited and we could use more.

Well I haven't done any more spells... I actually plan and drop a lot of projects... Forgetfulness and lack of time. I'll try to keep a few on my list.

Kinboat,

I just got wireless broadband internet, and since I'm capable of downloading huge files now, I've got me a copy of Open FX!!!!!

Anyways, since I can actually create some of my own complicated models (and export them to .3DS format), I'll be making a contribution around here. My first Poser prop that I made in Open FX (and imported and set up in Poser) is a Zanbatou (Cloud's Buster Sword from FF VII), which some people might be able to use.

Yep, Zulu is right !

Otherwise I think I still do something wrong but don't know what it is... any hint ? (CamJH, that's the problem I talked to you about).

cf BMP of the first render in animation.

Do you mean that you think you're doing something wrong because there's a gap between the ground plane and the foot?

If so, you can simply select Figure>PDM, and then Body. Then, to lower the whole unit, reduce the value of the y-transition. You can lower the figure until his feet rest on the ground plane or just above it, whichever you prefer. Hope this helps.

Yeah... my figure is just slightly above the ground plane. I'm not sure what the problem you're having is though.

I've just posted my Panda figure and a whole bunch of clothing for my PDF figure. Footware for the PDM is coming soon.

The dress is a prop... When you load it into a scene you'll need to scale and transform it as the image shows. This was done so I could more easily create extra morphs for it. If you are animating and you come across a pose that you can't get the dress to fit just send me an image of the pose from 2 angles (front and side) and I'll create a morph to fit.

Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!! Now that I have the clothes I can finally start my Windfinder unit for the WoT mod :p . I also have a few ideas for the Panda model too. :mischief:

I've just posted 3 pairs of boots and a pair of shoes for my PDM figure.

Actually I think I might have used the Serf outfit I've already posted... I should still have the cloak around somewhere though.

Yep... I know someone too.

maybe this is the wrong place to ask this question, but could someone maybe change that buffalo warrior in the first post. Maybe change his helmet for that bear cowl I see. And maybe a different shield (round and feathered?) I know this thread is about creating units in general, but I would like to use that unit if he didn't have his metal helmut and shield. Thanks either way.
