Why do I see so many of these stupid tops around??
Why is everyone such a blind consumerist??
who will buy any crap so Long as its branded properly.
Then they think "Its expensive, that makes me exclusive"

In fact why do people Voluntarily wear things that make them all look the same, its crypto-collectivist and disturbingly drone like.
People are drones, you walk down the high-street and play the beggining of "Drones" by "Fear Factory" and its kind of disturbing you know.
Dont delete this Admin, as I think I have a valid observation of our creepy fake consumer-"culture"

I just dont get why people voluntarily want to be sheep.
I knew this guy once, he got stuck in the door.
He was going "BAAAAH!!!"
"BAAAAAAHHHHH!!".

I thought he may have eaten too much Clover, poor chap.
I was thinking of going home and getting my hammer and chisel, because of the way the farmers of Old would get Rid of the trapped gas in they're flocks Sheep who went at the Clover again, and again, and again, and again...
Just like real Consumers.

Why do you single out SuperDry? Is there anything that makes it different from other brands?

A quick googling reveals.... rather generic looking hoodies & jackets?

Why are you so upset about that?

Never heard of this crap until now.

I still don't really understand what it is and why you're so upset.

SuperDry is a brand of clothing, that a lot of the soulless Rat-Racers in my town spend they're """"Disposable"""" income on at the weekends.

And its just, plain, creepy, how I can walk down the highstreet, and I see an almost literal flock of about 20-25 people together all convening in the same general place, wearing the same LOGO on exactly the same place,(Back of right shoulder) seemingly unaware of the fact that they were around other people who were also seemingly unaware that the other person, and indeed 20 rows of people in front of them where wearing the same thing.
I thought to myself for a split second
*I got it, they're filming "Jennifer Government" in my town!!* *Wow, I am kind of Honored* then I thought a moment later *No, thats silly*

How do you feel about people who wear blue jeans? I see quite a lot of them too.

Are the jackets actually water-repellant? If not, that would be some solid irony.

Also, Clover? Are you referring to the vegetarian restaurant in the Boston/Cambridge area?

So are you upset that if you want to fit in with these people you'll have to spend some of your disposable money on this brand, or what?

I remember my highschool days, each clique had their own "uniform". The jocks all wore the same type of clothes, as did the "alternatives/grunge group", the metal heads had a unique look etc.

Just do what makes you happy, and if you don't want to fit in with a group, then don't buy their uniform. And if think that cliques having their own dress code is stupid, find a clique that thinks like you do.

I though what I wrote was quite descriptive enough.
Fair enough, I shall endevour to try again!

Clover is what (Sheep) sometimes eat/ate, it causes a gaseous build-up in they're chest Cavities, that can be quite uncomfortable for (Sheep).

As I am comparing people who blindly follow trends to Sheep because they have been so thoroughly brain-washed by our government, and market, into being Souless Consumers, then the Clover bit is a logical connection.

Consumers are Sheep.
Sheep Sometimes eat clover.
Clover is bad for them.

I dont like it when people refer to other people as sheep.

I am reminded of this.

It would seem that you have become brain washed into thinking they must be brain washed.

Fit in with them.
Good God, No.

I definately, definately, definately, Do-Not want to fit in with them.

I am in fact, wondering what kind of mind-manipulation has been used on them to control them into buying SuperDry clothing in the first place.
Seriously "Fit in with them" thats a Joke right?
I am not joking though, I am struggling to understand the whole Corporate-Collectivist Consumerism thing.
How did they get "Droned" in the first place?

I do do what makes me happy, but get genuinely Disturbed by what I described in the OP.
Consumerism is a form of Collectivism by a Coporation dont you see that?

So you are disturbed by groupthink? The exact same phenomena we have always had but accelerated due to increased contact with each other.

So this thread isn't a rant against this brand, but rather a much broader topic? Why is your OP a rant against this particular brand then?

Seems to me you are spending much more time and energy on not fitting in with them than they are spending, which is also making you rather upset.

Live and let live. Stop focusing on other people, it would do you a lot of good.

This consumeristic Phenomena is a much broader one, yes.
But this brand is a Big player in my Local-Community,
of this consumeristic Phenomena.

Meh, it happens everywhere. Are you still in highschool? This sort of thing seems to affect 20 year olds too, but the older you get.. the less of an impact it seems to have.

People want to fit in, that's why they buy stuff that their friends wear. Companies take advantage of this and appeal their brands to specific groups of people.

Just wear what you want and.. who cares?
