I NEED the new patch notes! The wait is killing me!

Ever since before the last patch notes, I've been on the verge of wetting myself in excitement regarding what the next patch will bring.

Perhaps it was because the last balance patch was so good, I dunno. But I know I can't wait much longer...

How will some of the later SP trees be buffed? Will the tech tree be enhanced? New units / buildings? RA fixes? Will they fix the glitch preventing you from intercepting a-bombs? Will Germany be buffed?

Its got to the point where I'm checking every few hours for potential news.

Whatever the new patch brings, I have to know! Soon! or I might just explode!

Is anybody else this excited!?

as for me i have not played all the DLCs i've bought so far, so i feel calm

I've played Civ2, 3, 4 and SMAC for for about 10000 hours total for the past 5-6 years. Civ5 - only 80 hours since it's release Not a good game at it's current state. Maybe after a few years of patching i'll be exited about it.

I'm thinking they won't be releasing any notes till after E3. They will be reasoning, probably quite correctly, that most peoples' attention will be elsewhere for the duration. Firaxis wants maximum excitement from their fans for these things.

I'll be happy to see the next patch comming, too. I'm quite sure, it will bring some nice tweaks and enhancements, again.

But I'm afraid, hyping yourself will only lead to disappointment. Your imagination of what will change will be (MUST be!) way more far-reaching than what will happen in reality!

So, try not to get absorbed with the patch too much...

Everytime I check the forum I hope the patchnotes are available, but I'm not disappointed to see it is not. It will be here when it's here. But I expect a long list of (small) improvements/balancing, so I could still be disappointed.

And I don't think E3 is relevant for these types of anouncements.

Yes I am verry excited not only for the hotseat mode but for all the changes!!!

I hope they improve the tank sow it will be used more..

And thatt hey improve suileman's special ability i thinx it is one of the weakest one in the game...

And of course all the balance fixes... And fixing AI in combat how many times i facepalm in this game when the AI made their move.

Exactly what I meant. *Maybe* there will be some improvements here and there. At least the last patches did a quite good job. But improving the AI will be a slow process and I don't think the next patch will fix all remaining AI issues. And I doubt that these "facepalm moments" will ever be eliminated.

I was thinking they would announce an expansion pack at E3 (for release next year), but I haven't heard anything of Firaxis even being at E3 so probably not.

Once the patch notes are released, you'll be just as excited about when the actual patch is released.
