Ideas, Requests, and Feedback

Ok Ill get the models from downloading the 400meg wildmana. I'm planning on trying my hand at retexturing the models as male and female meshes themselves usually are not that distinctive from one another. If that doesn't seem likely to work I'll look around a little bit.

This allows you to park a Marked for Death unit just outside of the Super-Bad's leash range (between you and him) as a "virgin sacrifice" to keep him contained if you are really afraid of the consequences.

*cgh*nuns of order*cgh*

I like Xienwolfe's Idea.

(so is it a "Curse Mark" building in the city which causes units to be built with the Curse Mark promotion?)

and then its the Curse Mark promotion which is tied in with the AI scripting, as opposed to the building?

(if so, how would you keep the player from deleting the Curse Mark units ... or maybe the Curse Mark building is *also* tied into the AI scripting?)

Are there not some promotions that do not show so you can not see them (outside the editor)? Can you also do buildings that way?

Long time lurker, now member :goodjob:

I noticed on Prince difficulty that a lot of civs kept on getting dominated (not the spell lol) by the barbarians
even ones that do survive into late game, some have nearly no improvements and are beset by a huge army of barbarians,
on the plus side they usually come begging to be my vassal lol

Cheers!

(Oh I also updated RiFE on April Fools day and thought that was the only screen and music there was lol)

First, I'd like to say that I started FFH a few years back and you guys have really done a great job continuing to flesh it out. I do have one request/suggestion.

I find myself missing a strong evil religion for melee heavy civs. I like AV for many things but sometimes I don't want to bring the demons.

I'd like to see a god of war religion. Like maybe Bhall, but maybe he died...can't remember. Or some other concept. Both OO and Esus are more magic oriented and I find myself using alot of FoL....Doviello...Archos...Orcs...sometimes Chislev...even Calabim.

The other religion I think is missing is a neutral, magic oriented faith. I sometimes can't figure out what to do with the amurites or sidar.

Thanks for the time...and the great work so far!

Bhall is a she, and is already represented as one of the major deities of the Ashen Vale. She did not die, she fell into Agares' hell and remained unconscious for an age while her transformation from the embodiment of righteous indignation to the embodiment of untempoered malevolent passions was completed. She is now very much awake and active, wielding significant influence over both the Clan of Embers and the Infernals.

The God of War is Camulos (the patron of the Doviello). At least, that is the title given to him in the event where a shrine to him is found in a city. Normally he is called the God of Chaos, although I prefer the more accurate title God of Strife.

Camulos is too chaotic to have much of an organized religion, but there are plenty of secret shrines to him and he does answer the prayers (or at least imprecations) of his worshipers. Often he doesn't answer them in exactly the way his worshipers wish though. For example, when the warlord Baron Duin Halfmourn prayed to Camulos for more followers for him to lead into battle, the prayer was answered by turning him into a werewolf.

The patron of the Amurites is Oghma, but he is too occupied to be involved in a religion as his vault is under heavy assault by Mammon. In order to protect his many secrets, he has erased the memories of most of his angels, who now believe they are mere mortals and have no idea of their true power.

The Sidar worship Arawn, but he doesn't care and won't ever grant any divine powers to any priests. His archangel Gyra had helped the Sidar once or twice, but she is way too busy as the only one trying to stop Laroth to do too much.

I can see Arawn as being one of the deities honored by the Fellowship of the Leaves. Death is a natural part of the cycle of life, and Arawn is directly responsible for resurrecting Sucellus as the new god of Life and promoting Cernunos to God of Nature. Ancient Forests also provide a nice food boost that helps you get more super-specialists. They also work well with the Council of Esus, as it lest their UUs get hidden nationality and gain more xp while not at war.

The Fellowship of the Leaves was by favorite with the Amurites before the Empyrean and Council of Esus were added. Kylorin served Nantosuelta, who was Sucellus's lover and is respinsible for his body being restored in order to allow his Resurrection. (At one point, priests of the leaves also had the sorcery promotion and could be better than mages if Govannon was around, but that was several versions ago.) I now tend to favor The Empyrean when playing as Dain, due to his philosophical trait, and the Council of Esus for Valledia due to how devious she is. In the pedia we see her adopting The Order, but that was for very practical concerns as it was divined that her plot to use very evil magic to trick the Elohim into rejoining their war against the Infernals would not work fast enough.

So the CoE adopting AV is lore friendly?! wth:gripe:
Can she have her own religion for the CoE, like a cult of bhall? It would be able to be used by any civ but would help CoE the most as it grants access to their unique units...on the other hand maybe only barb aligned civs should be able to found it, and as their endgame ritual(for the odd CoE player who bothers teching along the priest line) they can release Bhall from hell and get an avatar of Bhall unique unit.

And, as a bonus, all illian owned tiles are turned into desert.:mischief: And all their units get a sumnered promo that gives them -10%:strength: and -25% resistance to fire damage.

I don't think the team will be adding another one-civ-religion any time soon.

That being said, I would love to see a unique Temple of the Veil for them, the Mazatl have them, so why not the Clan?

which Emperor? the one for the Undead Romans?

you should try the svn public beta release, barbarians are a bit more balanced in it .

Maybe a dumb question before I have my coffee, but how do you install it? do you have to download all the files individually, or look to see what's changed or something?
