Also, I'm pretty sure new states start with enough provinces to put them on equal footing with the rest of the world. So you'd be able to effectively resist Cascadia for quite a while.

I'd be willing to give up my hold on Mexico and chill in the US (Unless I have enough provinces for doing so to be a bad idea) but I am not giving up US states that are EAST of Texas. Definitely would rather fight. I'm not paying tribute either.

We are free because the people can succeed or fail on their own merits. If one born into poverty is resourceful or hardworking enough, they may rise and improve their standing in society; such is the case of Kyrillos Lysias, the CEO of New Kinichikia Arms, and currently one of the richest people on the planet.
Also, a democracy is defined as a 'government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.'
This of course means that any Capitalist nation with free elections is a democracy; more surprisingly, it means that any Socialist nation with free elections is also a democracy.

Since T-Fox informs me I'm able to take 73 provinces, a change of plans.

I'm still taking Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Lousiana, but I'm also taking the rest of East Mexico and enough Mexican territories in the west to get 2 coastal territories as far south in Mexico as I can. Then claim all of Alaska (My justification is its Palin's homestate.)

If I have any left, claim as much of the following states in order of priority:

Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kentucky (Not really planning to get all of that, just didn't add them all up. In that order, as much as I can.)

Also, now that I know how much territory I have, we still want to live at peace with out neighbors, but will not give in to any of Cascadia's demands.

English is officially the national language in former US territories, however, Mexican territories are allowed to (And do) use Spanish as long as English is not in any way marginalized and discriminated against. We reject all of those other laws.

Also, we're not trying to box you in. We're claiming just enough Mexican territory on the west side to grab a couple ports as far south as possible, but other than that, the west side is yours. We're only going for the East side, so we at least have MOST of the capital buffered off. The fact that you can outright attack our capital when you wish scares Western Texas a LOT. If you could attack it from three sides, we'd have to be in panick mode and have permanent martial law pretty much everywhere in the state. While Sarah Palin is perfectly OK with this idea, Ron Paul says he will never tolerate it.
