Imperium Offtopicum - UN Building

Sell? In fact, I'll give it to you free! You can get a spot right next to all the other embassies on embassy road in Tel Aviv. A spot that also happens to be right on the beach! Enjoy!

Sweet! Thanks for the sweet digs man. In appreciation, we're going to schedule the next hi-tech convention in Tel Aviv. Also, just to show you our appreciation, here's a free iPad:

Well, you know, the funny thing is, after we increase the electricity bill for foreign embassies and consulates, the Byzantine ambassador began burning coal at the Byzantine Embassy in Tunis to generate electricity. I'm sure he's acting without direction from Constantinople, though we would like to see this practice stopped.

*the emperor groans in disgust*

why burn coal? there are a million better options, including solar energy. the ambassador was recalled (and replaced with another one) and we shipped a small nuclear reactor (to power my embassy) with him. i hope you dont have any objection to that.

Not at all. Of course we expect you to ensure the safety of the operation so that no meltdown or any serious problem of that sort occurs.

of course we observe that safety. at least we don't have to pay the electricity bills.

one question: where did the coal come from?

Soylent Coal is people!?!?!

Byzantium experimented with something like that using dead humans ( with the families permission and knowledge) and animals ( with their owners knowlage and permission).

it needed too many dead bodies to be viable, and the electric supply was not constant, so it was discontinued. the technology still exists though.

China uses a similar method with live babies and small children, it's what we call bith control:cool:

and virote: do and i sue you for desecrating a leader, insulting a leader and putting me in a bad light.

Do so and I embargo you for attempting to censor art.

Hey! Why is he next to my embassy?

Fine, you can move a couple blocks down if you like.

If you like, I could build a giant statue of the leader of Byzantium with his trousers half way down his ankles on the roof of my embassy?

That would be hilarious! :goodjob:

Byzantium declines your offer and implores you to stop polluting the earth. you can either shut it down or buy a pollution converter for only $49,99. by one and get one free!

No.

and joe why are all of your embassies located in tel aviv? isn't Jerusalem the capital?

Because Jerusalem doesn't have beaches.

We would also like Byzantium to stop this. I mean, my factories are for a reason. Without them 90% of the world's computers/other small gadgets wouldn't work.
