Dude, I am making so much money from my hi-tech industry/oil that I have no idea what to do with it. Most of the time it's just kinda sitting there... why not put it to good use?

most of my money is also sitting there but at least i put some of it into a high speed monorail system. i recommend you do that as well. and there's a bunch of things you can do. make some inventions, cure cancer, get space capable, land a few men on the moon or mars, etc.

i plan to build a larger permanent space station kinda like the ISS, but exclusively Byzantine owned. and larger. and not as ugly. there are plans to found a colony on mars.

the Emperor finally decided to declassify skynet. it is a advanced computer system capable of supplementing human defenses of Byzantium. Skynet is mainly used to research and implement new High technologies. not limited to military. Skynet manufactures high technology items for Byzantium only, which, as it was made from a sentient computer, is of a far better quality than anyone else can make. the goal of skynet is to make Byzantium independent of anyone elses high tech items.

we MAY decide to let pacifistan to have this technology, if he is willing to buy it.

that is unnecessary. sky net is not connected to then world, and it cannot gain control fo existing military installations. and we have no nuclear weapons. skynet cant create nukes or too much military. we DID watch terminator...

No. I don't want to advance mankind! I'd rather build sculptures of me flipping off things, just because it's funny.

Actually, instead of building the ISS or going to mars, I'm going to build 10 tanks, each 100 feet tall and 1000 feet long. I shall call them, Landships!!!!!
