The Empire of Carthage agreed to join the Coalition against the Rogue Army and, in a daring pre-emptive strike, the Carthaginian Air Force conducted a massive raid on rebel-held territories, primarily targeting Byzantine air bases.

The raid was a spectacular success, with the bulk of the Byzantine Air Force destroyed on the ground. The use of bunker buster bombs ensured the destruction of entire Byzantine bomber fleet across the country and most of the advanced fighters. The Rogue Army nevertheless managed to scramble some fighters which fought against Carthaginian fighters over Athens. The Carthaginians eventually emerged victorious and, although sustaining significant casualties, this battle left the Rogue Army with virtually no air capabilities, with only a few obsolete fighters and military transport at their disposal. All rebel-held military airfields are severely damaged, as well as radar stations and communication centers. Civilian airports were not targeted in the raid.

Meanwhile, the Carthaginian media reported the latest findings from the First Shadow investigations, conclusively proofing the link between the First Shadow terrorists and the Rogue Army. Merniot, the escaped leader of First Shadow, is now reportedly staying with his Rogue Army hosts and allies in Constantinople. This cannot be tolerated.

Having secured complete air superiority, Carthage will now move ahead with Operation Talon.

Carthaginian marines are landing in Greece as we speak. However, we agree to stop time until we know the current borders.

Byzantium fighting with Evil Byzantium does not reconize that way of fighting, however other nations are free to attack however they want.

the Byzantine Army, 1 million strong started an invasion of Central Anatolia ( still in revolt against Evil Byzantium) with the Goal of liberating Ankara. with Evil Byzantium air force gone, they have an easy time fighting. the forces has agreed not to occupy the area until borders are finalized.

In a vote taken today, the legislature of Pacifistan has recognized Byzantium and it's leader Constantine as the legitimate leader of the nation of Byzantium.

The Republic of Pacifistan has agreed today to aid Byzantium in their fight against the separatist forces. The nation has agreed to send packages of weapons, medical supplies, ammunition, and foodstuffs to the loyalist forces. The first package will arrive tomorrow morning (game time), with additional package arriving throughout the week.

Additionally, the nation has agreed to offer up fighter jets, tanks, naval vessels, and various other vehicles on a lend/lease style program.

We would like to be able to station troops, warships and aircrafts (helicopter gunship and the like) at the Pera base as well.

the land you request is yours. i'm assuming its not an entire district. please liberate the Capital, move the industry (its all clean industry) to somewhere else in Constantinople ( there is believe it or not, some land in the northwestern corner) and then you can settle in there.

you can station as many troops as you want there. as long as its reasonable.

The Carthaginian Navy began laying mines around the British fleet. It's for their own protection in case any rebels managed to acquire... uh... water skis... and decide to attack them.

Carthaginian commandos parachuted into the Pera district while the British are in another area of the city and destroyed all enemy resistance. Reinforcements are arriving by air and fortifying the area while the Commandos searched the city for British soldiers to delay them until more Carthaginian forces arrive the Rogue Army and First Shadow leadership. Rebel forces are now beginning to mobilize and surround the Pera district, however.

As with the Carthaginian landings in Greece we will now stop time until the borders are finalized.

More British troops arrive, along with minesweepers who...err...move the mines to other areas. Y'know - becaause the Carthaginian Fleet obviously needs more protection then us...

Tanks have been landed in the area, mainly to stand guard and loom frightening to the Carthaginians Rogue Army.

the Byzantine Army of 1 million attacks Central Anatolia. 300,000 evil Byzantines opposed them.

Evil Byzantium: 1,6,1,2,6,1 = 17.
Byzantine Republic = 2,3,5,6,5,6 = 27.

the Rouge army of Central Anatolia has being utterly wiped out. 295,000 evil Byzantines were killed. 5000 were taken prisoner. then Byzantine forces retreated, citing that the maps are not final. when they come back central Anatolia will be taken without a fight.

Evil Byzantium has less than 200,000 soldiers left.

Despite the stern position the Commander of the Brother has in not letting any Brotherhood soldiers into the Byzantium Republic due to it's leader showing negative attitudes towards the Brotherhood of Steel. The Commander has finally decided to allow the Brotherhood aid the Byzantium after much thought (as well as seeing other nations jump to the aid, even though many of them had criticized the Byzantium in the past). The Brotherhood of Steel has decided to join on the side of the Coalition that's fighting the rouge army.

The Brotherhood of Steel is currently sending it's battleships as well as transport vessels loaded with power armored equipted solders as well as armed with energy weapons.

the Byzantine Republic after hearing this has sent its planes to destroy the jamming equipment currently in the hands of the rouge army. ( those that jam energy weapons or other high(er) technology items) with total air supremacy, its an easy job.

and you can have an embassy space as well.

the Byzantine emperor woudl remind everyone that after the country is liberated ill make a madetory vote among the population on the Venice question. the people will decide if Venice gets the land. if the majority votes no, then venice doesn't get the land and the matter is dropped. if the majority votes yes, i will surrender what i can spare.
