i was trying to explain what happened. clearly the Government vanished but nothing else did. i tried my best to make it up. sorry, but having equipment for only 26 ships and 4000 people really stretches the army.

make it something like: Byzantium repelled the Ottoman army and starting an offensive campaign against the ottoman empire. Each Turkish land claim you do will be territories you win in Byzantium's offensive against the turks. The emporer died in the campaign, and your current emperor inherited the nation.

impossible. 4000 people cannot repulse an army of at least 80,000. ever. and they certainty cannot expand that much in four years. a peacefulish expansion is more believable.

Frankly, I don't give two cents of the history as long as it isn't stretching what could have happened. Math's first version and second version was fine. There is something in the rules that says we don't give if you have radioactive monkeys. As long as it doesn't influence this game or cause mass spam, I'm fine with it.

I'm sorry but what does SOI stand for?

I am also creating an Alliance for all free nations. Nations that have large populations in more then one religion, and as a result feel the need to enact free religion, and grant freedoms to all people regardless of religion. I encourage the members of China, Japan and Mughal to join.

what competition? i have no interest in your lands at all. and since i'm the most senior and most powerful orthodox nation, i legitimately claim the leadership. even the pope recognized it (and made a compromise). i do not challenge the popes authority, i actively cooperate with him.

To him you wants the islands: Think of my position to the Byzantine Emperor of me recognizing him as the leader of the Orthodox Church and in return he listens to me like the rest of the faithful.

And you do not need Sicily for Africa. No matter where you are at in the Med. Sea, you can reach Africa with the same expense to your colonizers.
