Imperium Offtopicum: Valkyrie

To the Communist Atheist Scums in Venezuela that have no history
From the glorious Empire of Greece:

We shall not reply to some scums who oppress their people. We have democracy and you have a dictatorship. Not to say that when the Ancient Greeks build Parthenon, your people were still in the trees eating bananas.

This is a bit overboard, christos edit out your comment, its way to offensive.

I see I overestimated the comprehension abilities of several people here.

Did I ever say I would go to war with the US? Now it is nigh inevitable that I will in some point in the future, unless the dictatorship falls, but that is because Kinich has been unexpectedly treacherous, ungentlemanly and scummy.

I recently received this oh so intriguing message from the Spanish. Cuba, as a protectorate & a republic, is of course not ours to give away, & for the Island to return to the Spanish would require an invasion. We urge all nations contacted by the Spanish to ignore their scheming.

Cuba does not belong to me; I cannot just give it away. A client state relationship is very different from ownership. The client state agreement is a mutually beneficial one, wherein the client is protected by the other state in exchange for various privileges, such as the ability to station troops in the client, ect. To stand by as Cuba is attacked by Spanish forces would not only be dishonorable, it would be treacherous. Furthermore, it would show that the United States is not committed to the defense of her clients, which could make other US clients begin rethinking our arrangement.

OOC: Sorry. Didnt mean to offend anyone.

Just try not to get carried away again, the GM god has said "Respect thy fellow players, as thy would like to be respected!"

The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste would like to make it clear that we were not involved with the drafting of recent Greek diplomatic telegrams and in no way endorse their contents.

Wait what. I have an alliance with France? Also, I have done nothing more than I already had yesterday in regards to world peace, which I have never intended to threaten.

Except over Cuba.

The Republic of Mexico, at the order of El Presidente, cuts all ties with the Empire of Greece.

FROM The Republic of Mexico

Recently we offered you a cultural and educational exchange program. Would you be adverse to this?

In addition, would you consider and exchange of ambassadors?

That was a bluff, you know. What I most hate of this after the reveal, is that all this affair and so many posts would have taken 2 more PMs only. And the US would have retained the possibility of having Iberia as an ally or partner.

We called your bluff. You basically asked up to give up a protectorate for some Iberian ally.

No. You invited everybody to the private game. Calling the bluff is saying "No"

Well, what is done is done. Nothing Spain can do about it, so no reason to argue it I suppose.

Definitely, moreover when it does not exist. :p

There's no reason to get offended over a game, guys. Leaking a PM may be a dishonourable thing to do, but all is fair in love and war, eh? Let's not argue over whether or not Kinich was right or not in releasing it, or whatever you guys are arguing over (I was too lazy to do anything but skim over it)

^agreed, you can leak PMs if you choose, true it may be dishonorable but its not against the rules. also agreed on the Mosher quote.

Württemberg would like to remind the world that we're a neutral country and still looking for formal international recognition.
