Imperium Offtopicum VI

Spain is preparing to go into a period of isolationism, in order to deal with people who are trying to stop the spread of monarchy, even though the king is supporting the changes. We will step down from the stage of wolrd diplomacy for a while to deal with our internal affairs.

We vote for Carthage and a partition of the disputed South African territories.

The Cuba Transitional Government is proud to announce the final phases of the transition from the previous totalitarian government to the constitutional monarchy. Admiral Castro has been crowned Emperor of the Caribbean Sun. Meanwhile, voting will begin in each province to put elected MPs into the Politburo.

When that is finished, the Emperor and Politburo will decide on who the first 11 justices of the Cuban Supreme Court shall be and who the President will be. The President will pick his or her own Vice President.

The Emperor does have some powers of the government but for the most part, the four branches (Monarch, Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) have equal power.

I vote for Carthage.

2105 KLEIN VENEDIG ELECTIONS

Though the conservative Freiheit/Liberdad Party retains its control of the seat of Reichskanzler, giving Emilia Garcia her second term, and most of the Reichstag, a new rival to both of the established parties has appeared. A man producing convincing documents which show a family link to the Habsburg dynasty has been adopted as a mascot of sorts by the Monarchist Party, which sees a great increase in poll numbers.

CHANCELLERY ELECTION
Emilia Garcia (Fr/Li): 82%
Matthias Mark (Mon): 13%
Reinhard Horstmeyer (Ei/Un): 4%
Others (Socialists, Grün/Verde, Nationalists): 1%

PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION
Freiheit/Liberdad Party: +0 (77 seats)
Monarchist Party: +13 (13 seats)
Einigkeit/Unidad Party: -10 (10 seats)
Grün/Verde Party: -3 (0 seats)

In additional news, Dutch has been accepted as a national language alongside German, Spanish, and English.

The chair of Klein Venedig's Monarchist Party, Matthias Mark, sends Emperor Castro his congratulations, and hopes that his own nation may one day follow Caribbean Sun's example.

So Africa was already divided, yet Burgundy wasn't invited to pitch in? Somehow, we don't feel bound to honour an agreement we know nothing about.

To the Caliphate: Where is this "clear" sphere of influence we have allegedly violated? If it's the division of Africa we were not party to, then see above.

We ARE Africa, yet we weren't included either, so don't feel you were the only one left out!

the Republic of Madagascar renounces the Claims to the 2 south African ispands. so as to not piss off Carthage. or something.

we vote for Eralatuk, since south Africa is clearly within their SoI.

do note, however that we do not know everyone's SoI in Africa. so if we expand into Mozambique or something, do not kill us.

EDIT: i feel the same way. African nation not invited to the Partition plan.

I originally put Somalia in my SOI, from the start, me and Eralatuk have agreed that its mine, and the Asian Union also agreed its mine

I don't beleive there have been any actual agreements to partition Africa, but nations have claimed SOI's, and these have been accepted by other African nations.

DT
Carthaginian :)

I'm the only African nation, and on-ones asked me!

I think in a few turns we will need to draw up a map or something.

there are three African nations that im aware of. Madagascar, Eralatuk, and
Carthage. i believe any partitions involving Europeans need the final agreement from the three Native countries in order for it to be valid.

Nedim, if anything at all, having the completely crazy and now dissolved Asian Union agreeing with you is probably a bad sign.

We would happily attend a general conference on Africa, if one was convened.
