The Republic is certainly much closer to China than Scandinavia is. It does not make sense for you to claim lands nowhere near you.

How about our three parties agree to compromise instead of squabbling about this? Short of coming to blows, which we dearly hope to avoid, all we can do is keep bickering when we could be putting our attention towards other matters. Perhaps a neutral party would be willing to host delegations of ours for a reasoned discussion on the matter.

You guys stay out of my sphere of interest, that is, Japan, China, and Australia, and I won't establish Argentina as a protectorate.
