The following are the second W.A.C election results.

Allainces of Political Parties.png

Note that each province now has just one representative.

Current president is Idowu Saro-Wiwa once again, with Tony Bugul in a king maker position in legislative processes now, with Saro-Wiwa will have to work with each of the rival coalitions, playing them against each other if possible.

Yeah, seriously. Enough waiting on people. You can post what you want after the update.

If no one objects or creates a new one I suggest we move to the UN constitution proposed by Sonereal back in January.

Similarly inform me of any non-human population in your nations (Similar to Thorvald's Black Guard) numbers as ever would be useful.

As ever any wars must be declared in the thread or I will not count them.
Since almost all the habitable world is now claimed I am going to be changing the rules slightly regarding claims.

Well I wanted to draft a proper charter but I'm still too damn busy.

And I believe I asked for a show of hands who's actually still in the UN.

The W.A.C will support the UN's continued existence and hence will continue to be a member, for the sake of peace and humanity.

The Pan-American Union will continue to refrain from United Nations membership.

Germany will continue to be a member of the UN.

If the UN recognizes White Russia we won't recognize the UN.

If the UN recognizes White Russia we won't recognize the UN.

Whoever lives there is not even white, so I don't really know why you still call it White.
Are they putting up the white flag or something?

the Roman Empire will be a member of the UN, provided there are rules to prevent it from being a destroy a nation club.

So long as the member nations remain dynamic, this should not be an issue.

Australia-New Zealand recognizes the UN.

Here's a spoiler-ed history, so I don't stretch the thread. I don't expect this to be applied to the Frankenstein update, but I still wanted to get this out there. :p

Spoiler :
A wise man once said that it is not achievement alone that determines success, but the obstacles one overcomes on the way. For living proof of that statement, you do not need to look much farther than the German Empire.

As the Summer of 2107 approached, Germany was in a panic. The Empress had not been seen since her abrupt departure from the state dinner, and rumors were circulating that Claudia Hapsburg had died, leading to more rumors that the state was covering it up, as the lack of a direct heir could lead to the German state fracturing. Thankfully, the Empress herself disproved the rumors in her national address a week later. Still bedridden from her near-death experience, she confirmed rumors that she had been poisoned and announced new efforts to bring in the person or persons responsible. The most notable of these new regulations was the reestablishment of the elite counter-terrorist unit GSG-9, which took over the investigation into the terrorist attacks on Germany from that point on.

In the winter of 2107, top investigators made a breakthrough in the case when they positively matched the design of the bomb used in the Bremerhaven incident to the bomb that was used to assassinate the Archduke of former Austria. Gertrude Gagnon, a suspect in the Bremerhaven incident still held in police custody, was questioned with this new evidence following the discovery. While she still maintained that the Bremerhaven plot was instigated by her deceased partner, she admitted that the assassination of Archduke Joseph and the failed poisoning of his daughter was ordered by her sister, Zéphyrine Elisabeth Gagnon. Born in Calais, France, she and her sister had lived there for most of their lives before moving to Austria, allegedly to pursue their education. Background checks revealed that the two were connected to radical feminist groups in France and West Germany before travelling to Austria, and many of her friends and acquaintances described her as a charismatic and strong-minded individual, if a bit conceited. Her sister told authorities that upon arriving in Austria she had begun to recruit like-minded individuals for the purpose of destroying the "patriarchy of Austria", targeting the Archduke and then his daughter when her reforms were not radical enough to suit their goals. A nationwide manhunt for the terrorist leader commenced, with GSG-9 collaborating with local and foreign law enforcement to track down her whereabouts.

The search came to an end two weeks later, when a local shopkeeper from Frankfurt reported a woman matching Zéphyrine 's description, who purchased cigarettes using a Russian passport for ID. GSG-9 was immediately contacted and deployed to the area, with the Wojska Specjalne , Poland's own special forces unit, converging on the Polish side of the border. Gagnon and her remaining loyalists were cornered on the German-Poland border, where they managed to bunker down in a customs office, taking seven male customs workers hostage. Gagnon managed to hold out for twelve hours before GSG-9 was given the order to assault the building. Under the cover of tear gas and smoke bombs, GSG-9 successfully assaulted the building and subdued Zéphyrine Gagnon. The loyalists who were not subdued committed suicide to avoid being taken into custody, but thanks to the efforts of the WS, the hostages were evacuated from the building with only minor injuries among them.

Zéphyrine Gagnon was brought to Berlin, where she awaited trial for murder, attempted murder, terrorism, and treason against the state. Her sister was charged with similar crimes, but she was ultimately given a light sentence thanks to her help, with the worst of her crimes being pardoned by the Kaiserin. Zéphyrine herself became a hot topic in Germany, especially after subsequent interviews revealed her ultrafeminist motivations. While the Kaiserin did everything in her power to keep the German relationship with France cordial, the public was not so forgiving. German citizens blamed the French for spawning the deranged terrorist, while the French and other nationalities felt that accusation went too far. As the trial approached, the nationalist sentiment between Germans and Frenchmen came to a boiling point, despite the pleas of the Kaiserin to steer away from the fervor of nationalism. The breaking point finally came on the day of the trial. While Zéphyrine Gagnon was being escorted to the courtroom, Mathias Hüber, a former soldier with troubling National Socialist leanings, stepped from the crowd, drew two pistols from inside of his jacket, and opened fire. Twelve shots were fired, mortally wounding Zéphyrine and severely injuring five others.

The result was disastrous. Racial and ethnic violence spiked overnight, and rioting gripped many of the German border towns, especially those in the West near the French border. The worst rioting took place in Amsterdam, where there was already nationalist dissent among the native French, fueled by the influx of German citizens following the annexation of the Netherlands and by the radical writings of French feminist authors, which were being read long before the Germans came along. Bleeding Amsterdam, as it came to be called, got so bad that the local law enforcement was forced out of the city, unable to contain the widespread chaos. In an effort to quell the rioting, the Kaiserin ordered the military to move in and restore order in Amsterdam. The problem didn't stop immediately, but thanks largely to the generous displaying of the Meteor mechanized suits, the violence in the city finally began to ebb. Bleeding Amsterdam became a national embarrassment for Germany, and critics of the regime lauded stories about atrocities committed by the German army to restore order in the ruined city, such as turning flamethrowers on mobs or leveling entire city streets. The rumors proved to be unfounded, and once the smoke cleared, many began to commend the Kaiserin for her efforts to keep the peace among nationalist uprisings.

While the military would be resolved of any wrongdoings in Amsterdam, the entire situation did reveal fundamental issues within the German military structure. Mechanized suits, for instance, held no classification within the military, and were deployed as infantry or tanks depending on the commander in charge. New reports also showed that the training for new recruits was ill-suited to preparing them for the rigors of modern warfare, and was in dire need of reworking. Thus when the dust settled, Germany began the process of re-modernizing its military. Spearheaded by the Kaiserin's Chief Advisor, Karl Thorsten, the Re-modernization proved to be highly successful. New training methods greatly improved the quality of new recruits, and some of the brightest minds in the German army worked together to create new doctrines that gave the mechanized suits a place on the battlefield. Further spending reforms shifted more money towards better arms and armaments, putting German arms manufacturing back on top following the resurgence of Indonesian manufacturing. The most notable development was the latest model of mechanized armored suits, the Comet. Generally a straight upgrade from the older Meteor suits, the Comet has yet to be tested on the battlefield, but German commanders are highly confident in the Comet, lauding its improved firepower and versatility among other features. Sadly, Karl Thorsten would not live to see the new German army he helped create in action, having died from a fatal heart attack in 2120.

Despite the troubles, the economy is in good shape, the military is as powerful as ever, and the Kaiserin's rule is secure. New events abroad, such as the American conflicts and the rise of White Russia and GEAR, seek to challenge Germany's position as a world power, but Germany is confident in their ability to succeed, no matter what hardships come next. With the Kaiserin at the forefront, there are sure to be brighter skies ahead.
