Improved Graphics for CIV

Hey everyone,

Sorry I've haven't been around for a while. My computer was crashing a bit at the time I disappeared and then after I fixed it I could never find the time for modding. I'm pretty sure most of the work I've done is out there somewhere, but if anyone knows something that I haven't released I can look on my harddrive and upload it.

Also, try to keep the technical questions to a minimum - I've forgotten most of the unit making tricks I learnt. :( I'll try and update this mod a bit.
Well, you're back! That's cool - at least we know why you vanished! :)

There *is* something that - as far as I know - you never released and people were looking for - in your Cultural Diversity Thread and I think you've never released the textures that were used in these screenshots.

Cheers, LT.

Hey. I'm glad you're back
If you need any help for example with modding, just ask :)

Thanks asio, np

@ Lord Tirian - files are here.
Thanks! Hope to see you modding again - or at least playing the mods here, in the last couple of months, a lot of interesting mods and concepts were developed and other mods got a lot better/refined.

Cheers, LT.

Oh, hi Chuggi.
Fancy that, I'm getting close to finishing Cultural Citystyles, and planned to start on the unit part with what you released from the Cultural Diversity mod. ;)

Chuggi, glad to see you posting here again, but I was wondering if you still had that "Jesus" GP. If you do could you post it?

Also if you have anything else lying around that you think is notable could you post that too?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like its comeback time. First MO, then Pencilgod, now Chuggi. :-)

Hey, your appearance is as surprising as your disappearance was :)

Welcome back :D

Thanks everyone, nice to be back. :)

Let me know what you need. ;)

Here's the great people I have in my mod folder, Jesus is in there, was using him for a European/Roman flavour unit I think.

welcome back Chuggi. Did you see your contribution to the Hitler LH?

Just had a look at the final product, looks fantastic. :D

Wow! Welcome back man! I really thought you weren't coming back; very glad you've returned.

As before, I am ready and willing to help you out with stuff. :goodjob:

Hey, thanks! Yeah been pretty busy with life, moved houses, currently halfway through a multimedia course. But lately I've been missing modding so I checked the forums..

I think we were working on some EE converting before I left..? What's the go?

Thank you so much Chuggi, that was very helpful to me.

I am actually using a lot of your units in my upcoming mod. Particularly the German, Russian, and French units you made for CDM. So I'd like to take the opportunity to personally thank you for making them.

As far as the EE units go I THINK a lot of them have been converted during your absence.

I believe some folks have independently converted a lot of those after you left (although there are still some nice ones that weren't done). And I totally don't remember where we stopped. :)

Actually, I think folks around here would very much appreciate resumed work on both CDM and Improved Graphics - and I have some stuff to share with you, at least regarding the latter.

The mod I am working on actually uses a lot of your CDM stuff Chuggi, so even if you don't intend on finishing it all of the units are getting used. Which brings me to this question; I know you worked on a bunch of different settler families, and I was wondering if you still had them, and if so could you post them? Thanks.

I'll post what I have. :) (uploading)

I'm going to resume work on Improved Graphics soon, but I might abandon CDM and just work on units instead. In any case I've got a lot of re-learning to do before I can do anything fancy. What sort of work have you done? I could use some nicer water. ;)

Settlers are here, The Capo. I think most of these were in CDM but I could be wrong, let me know if you need the xml.

That reminds me Walter Hawkwood, how's Total Realism going? It's still my most anticipated mod.
