Haha, it's totally true! I went through that phase... in fact, I can be said to still be going through it. I don't know why, but WWII Japan is just really interesting!

I wrote my Extended Essay (for the International Baccalaureate Programme) on why Japan entered World War II. I found it marginally interesting, so I picked the topic, and believe you me, it wasn't very interesting by the time I was done with it.

Well, I wanted to try something different from my usual routine (Futurama, and uh, Futurama), preferably something with transparency, since I've never done it before.

Well, I find the Japanese interesting because... uh, I dunno why. I guess I just enjoy studying underdogs/loser's in history.
