Btw, may I suggest some nomenclautre adjustments (specifically, the renaming of Albania into Epirus and Algiers into Icosium)? These anachronisms really disrupt the atmosphere.

Sure. When the new stats will come up, they'll come up with the new (older) and improved names. The update should use them, too. Just remember to complain to me when my quick, run-through edit misses one of them.

But...the update's very linear, so it would be rather odd with the missing pieces, and, more importantly, the one thing I haven't done is the map, because that's supposed to be fun, so I was saving it for the end.

However, I will assure all players and lurkers that the update will be here by Wednesday.

If you want to be Gaul or Barcelona, sure, go right ahead. If you want to join as another country, however, please wait until after the update. (Everything but the Western Med and Gaul is completely finished, and all the nations but Gaul and Barcelona in that area are PCs)
