Influx of New Info

We have to remember that there are 5 city states that need to be replaced
Vienna (Austria is now a civ)
Edinbrugh & Dublin (Celts is now a civ)
Stockholm & Helsinki (Sweden is now a civ)

That's a 1 Cultured CS, 2 Militaristic CS, and 2 Maritime CS.

Also, Tyre is no longer militaristic, so that's another one that needs to be replaced.

I'm going to bump my old thread on City-States and see if I can generate discussion there.

Milan is cultural
Zanzibar is mercantile

Actually I already put a list together a couple days ago, in Liex's map thread
The original CivV city states:
Spoiler :
◦Almaty: Militaristic
◦Belgrade: Militaristic
◦Bucharest: Cultured
◦Budapest: Militaristic
◦Brussels: Cultured
◦Cape Town: Militaristic
◦Copenhagen: Maritime
◦Dublin: Militaristic
◦Edinburgh: Militaristic
◦Florence: Cultured
◦Geneva: Cultured
◦Genoa: Maritime
◦Hanoi: Militaristic
◦Helsinki: Maritime
◦Lhasa: Cultured
◦Monaco: Cultured
◦Oslo: Maritime

◦Rio de Janeiro: Maritime
◦Seoul: Cultured
◦Sidon: Militaristic
◦Singapore: Maritime
◦Stockholm: Maritime

Changes during DLCs:
3 got on new civs' city lists: Seoul (cultured), Copenhagen (maritime), Oslo (maritime)
3 were added to replace them: Sidney (maritime), Kathmandu (cultured), Quebec (maritime)
Cape Town changed from militaristic to maritime

Thanks to moysturfurmer we know of a new video:

http://videos.pcgames.de/hdvideo/8347/Civilization-5-AddOn-Gods-and-Kings-im-ueberblick

Dutch theme is heard in the beginning (anyone knows the original song for this theme?)
Trireme is melee (both ships in combat take casualties; new promotions, likely relating to abordage and piracy)
Guilds is new tech, unlocks Trading Posts, Machu Picchu, Dutch UI and Wealth, begins Medieval Age
Genoa is Commercial
Demanding tribute from City States makes you lose Influence with them

Warrior has strength 8.
I don't recognize the theme at the beginning.
Chariot Archer 8 Ranged, 5 strength.
Walls provide +5 defense, and +50HP. Flexible HP, I like.
Hanging Gardens +6 Food.

And what is the symbol at Amsterdam?

Its not crystal clear to me, but they look at the civlopedia entry for the Polder and I think it looks buildable on marsh and flood plain?

Tengirism (if you're referring to religion) it's one of the 11 choosable religions.

There's now a new status.. which has a golden color.. at City States

Golden Age button gone from Great General!

I wonder if the J can translate the GG Citadel text. It seems like a massive block of text, but I recognize 'diplomacy' (ish) from my bad german.

edit:

Archers don't have a penalty vs. cities and catapults have +200% vs. cities.

HG has been immensely nerfed, by the way, +6 food

Another change that's in VEM (the other being that catapults no longer require Iron).

The citadel now expands your territory into the neighboring hexes. If those belong to someone else you get a negative diplomatic modifier.

So they basically added the "Culture Bomb" ability to the Citadel?

Yes, according to the description it should work as the culture bomb does now.
edit: And it keeps it current abilities.

Makes sense that the Citadel deals -3HP (-30HP in GaK) to adjacent enemy units in your territory, so it logically expands this territory. Nice.

But they NEED to give Great Artists a new ability. Maybe contributing a lot of culture to Social Policies? Like in Civ 4, Great Artists generated a couple thousand culture points.
