OOC: I did the math. If all of the nations included in my previous post, the UMR included, were to combine our forces & attack Aragon, we would have 75 navies against Aragon's 15. If we pooled our armies, we would have 155 armies against Aragon's 24. Even if Llanfar & Andorra decided to join Aragon, it would still be our 75 navies & 155 armies against their 35 navies & 116 armies. The war would last one turn, two max, & then you could resume trading.

Andorra views the Papal States' holding of Iberian territory as illegitimate, and will consider a declaration of war on Aragon, the righteous and uncorrupted Christians they are (which is more than I can say of the Papal States), as an assault, not defense.

OOC: What in the name of God are you talking about?!?! I only closed off Gibraltar & began gathering allies & denouncing Llanfar after they murdered a Catholic Priest! You cannot honestly believe that my response was inappropriate given the time period this IOT takes place in. Actually, it was inappropriate. If a non-Catholic nation, any nation, had done what the Llanfars did in real life, the Pope would have declared Holy War without a second thought! Considering that, my closing of Gibraltar was a disproportionately merciful action!
