IOT Organisational and Discussion Thread

Whereas IOT:tSoM has started.

If any of you have a passion for martians, classics, a love for music or better still all three combined there are still NPC places to be claimed and remeber, we're all in this as a team once they arrive.

If anyone claims an NPC I've been influencing, I'll break their king's spine.

Oops! I was meant to have No Safe Harbor ready by now, wasn't I?

Ah well, might have it up and running by November, anyway.

I was looking back at a forum game I had heard about that was before most of our times, Rise from Medieval Kingdoms.

I feel like there should bea reboot. Sort of fusion of IOT and NES. I love playing both though NES is more fun :p and I feel like we could get the two communities to interact.

Here's what I recently realised: in IOTVI (which I based WMD rules on), it says that each LP invested in a nuclear program increases the chance of it succeeding by 1%. Can anyone tell me how exactly how this works using the RNG?

Here's what I mean: Russia in IOT7 at this moment has F23 in the nuclear program. Does this mean Russia has a 23% chance of the nuclear program succeeding in this turn?

Correct

Before I actually work on it, would anyone join a second american revolution IOT?

Basically, there will be a North American map, all PC's are either rebels in the US or pre-placed nations(Canada, Mexico for example). There's a lot more to it than that, but that is the main idea of it.

Sure.

Yeah.

Why is everyone bending when to update around the players?

Could I just ask that any future IOTs link that they are starting a new game in this thread? I don't often check the actual forum.
