I can't believe Nedim actually finished the map!

Eh. For the most part.
I kind of took over for the rest of North America and South America.
That being said, Europe and Asia are all his, and he's responsible for most of Africa and Australia.

I FINISHED IT LIKE THE RYUGYONG HOTEL

Useful Risk Battle Calculator Thing

I used this baby for quite a few pencil-and-paper NESes, and now I've decided to drop it off here.

I dunno if it will get any uses, as it only does traditional risk armies/dice/stuff. However, it does have "stopping off" points for the invader, and it does show the entire spreadsheet of dicerolls so you can have the defender surrender.

What I did is that I rolled a dx for bonuses. Every dx I give the enemy one extra casualty. So I give a d4 bonus first roll is 4, after 4 turns I take a casualty from the unfavored team. The smaller the X the higher the bonus. Be warned! THIS particular method IS tedious!

29 Technologies. 14 Units. 9 Province Improvements. 170+ Provinces. A fully realized air combat system. Nuclear options. Espionage and high seas control.

Want to bombard the enemy with missile destroyers? Be my guest.

Want to carpet bomb them from above, your aircraft blotting out the sun? Sure.

Want to hit them with a powerful armored fist, led by the greatest generals of the age? Bring it on.

Want to overrun the enemy fleet with waves of light frigates while a squadron of submarines slowly sneaks into position, torpedoes armed? Whatever you say.

Want to gain air superiority through supersonic fighters with BVR missiles and AWACS support and blow apart any enemy force that comes out from its bunkers, allowing your small special forces teams to sweep over the enemy homeland practically unopposed? Planes are in the air already.

Want to show them the light, and become Death, destroyer of worlds? Just push the big red button.

With all these technologies, units, improvements and new capabilities, you have far more options for dealing with crises, Mr. Leader. But also far, far more to fear.

The Cold War was a time of great leaders and unparalleled courage and strategic insight. Do YOU have what it takes to come out on top in this age of conflict?

Just yesterday the Mafia Awards 2012 thread opened. I think it'd be great if we had IOT Awards in the same fashion. Eligible games should have died in 2012, except perhaps for games on hiatus right now *couch*Valk*cough*, because two parts can only be so different, neh?

Anyways, there would be this Best Game, Best Concept, Best Setting, Best RP, Best Map, Best Ruleset, Best Player and, of course, Best GM. And a special award to someone for its overall contribution to the community.
