IOT12 and IOT13 seem fun, but I'll have to take my time to read the rules and the gameplay so far.
Also, why are all your IOT's post-apocalyptical or nuclear? I can barely stand the eerie feeling of those......

Its generally because those offer "Blank slate" type settings where players can create whatever nations they want whereas in other settings all nations have to have a common back story and history.

Seems to be the easiest way to explain a blank-slate world without starting the game in 4000 BC. What Robert said. Truth be told, only a couple have actually made a serious story out of the catastrophe premise.

I'd like to think that Spirit of Man does. Though that isn't complete catastrophe since the majority of Governments remain even if significantly weakened.

A few have done historical or dawn-of-civilization types, but the lack of modern technology is often off-putting to many players.

I would enjoy a more medieval IOT. You know, the early period, from the begginings of the dark age to around the 1700's, when things start getting boring and unfair from my point of view.

You might enjoy Kingdom Come, a game by Mech that is in development.

IOT Constitution states it very clearly:

1. The GM cannot keep a member from joining a game unless the OP has a clear statement that the game will have a limit to the number of players and the request to join will put the player count over that stated limit.
