OOC: Is the country in green above me the Pro-Canadian Rebels? And the country in pink The Mountain Peoples?

And a good random number generator is random.org

I'll edit that in later.
@Ver: Yes, yes, and thanks.

To: Canada
We would like to establish some trade relations between the mighty SSRM and the vast Canadian nation. We will trade you lobster and fish in exchange for timber.

To: The Red Army
We would like to trade with the glorious USSR. We understand that armies far from home will have supply problems - so we'll trade you fish and potatoes in exchange for guns.

To: Louisiana
We'll give you lobster in exchange for crawdads

To: Kentucky
We'll give you timber for fried chicken. :p

Deal.

To: SSRM
Hello. We understand that your nation and ours has some "slight" differences politically, but we are willing to look past that, and try and rebuild America with you, in the way it ought to be. We accept your offer. The President will personally select the first load of timber.

The SSRM is delighted that our nations can mutually aid eachother. Feel free to peruse our large timber surplus - and the food will be shipped out as soon as possible to the Red Army camps in Washington.

Orders:
All into claims (in orange).
Make Columbus, Ohio my capital.

As the protest grew, the need for some leadership became obvious. John Roger, an important and skilled organizer soon became the obvious choice. As the protest found itsself the main controller of much territory, Columbus Ohio became the center. Now that the protests have achieved victory in many places, people are slowly returning to their daily lives. A referendum is being held on how the new government will work. Meantime, much of Ohio has revolted and joined the movement. We are the 99%!

(HOLY ****! Half cost buildings just for having less favorable diplo!? That is so OP I almost want that changed, but since it favors me I don't. :p)

To: Maine
From: République de la Louisiane

Sure, although crawdads are basically smaller lobsters, so don't come crying to us when you feel ripped off.

To: World
From: République de la Louisiane

If you wish to have a deal with us, make sure you do it before the end of this year, for we feel the racists in this country won't approve of us much longer.

Claiming the free province in Texas, all of Oklahoma, and the Arkansas province directly touching Louisiana. Capital is New Orleans, and I think you should know where it is.

(Story later)

Yeah, we know that crawdads are mini-lobsters. But, this way, you have big lobsters and small lobsters, and we have big lobsters and small lobsters. :p And it was the only resource I could think of that Louisiana has that Maine doesn't. :p

You've enlightened me! Buildings cost 3/4s for you.(Still a pretty powerful bonus that can be put back :p)

I got one now, but thanks.

The Free Corporatocracy of New York would like to enter into a trading agreement with the République de la Louisiane: we'll ship Long Island peaches & plums to you in exchange for Louisiana's sugarcane & rice.

Okay, all known inconsistencies have been fixed.

Also(Directed at Omega), Diplomatic strains includes trade that will expire in at most three turns and inability to join a non-American alliance. Things like that that won't block youfrom winning completely...just make it more difficult to earn things through diplomacy.

To: Kentucky
We'll give you timber for fried chicken. :p

We're Appalachia :p

KFC's original recipe got leaked years ago. Would you settle for some Kentucky Fried Watermelon instead?
